Dr. I-Wen Tseng

Extremely rude, non caring, argumentative, and non empathetic. I came in after a major collision and after 7 hours and only 10 minutes with him he explains nothing to me. I had to ask for clarification and even a doctors note after he told me I should be on bed rest until I can get into a specialist but wouldn’t write any note past 2 days. It was the weekend so he was aware that I couldn’t even call the office until Monday. It was all extremely unfortunate but I can see why his days at Presbyterian are numbered. Don’t work in healthcare if you don’t CARE for others and listen to their needs. He told me anything over 2 days someone would be calling him questioning it. I told him with HIPPA, and we being a healthcare worker myself how was this a feasible excuse? He just walked away. He knew my pain and disregarded it.

I experienced an accidental knife cut through my hand while preparing dinner. Dr. Tseng very carefully stitched the cut areas. He then sent me to UNMH for further evaluation by an orthopedic hand surgeon. I felt that Dr. Tseng was quite knowledgeable and did excellent work in closing my wounds. The hand surgeon that I saw at UNMH confirmed that Dr. Tseng capably performed all that needed to be done. The hand surgeon set up a follow-up appointment 8 days in the future. Dr. Tseng's nurse, Travis, also performed his duties professionally and with great care. Their technician, Lynn, even loaned me her phone charger when my phone battery was low. Thanks for the great care!
