I've been seeing doctor Levinson/going to the office for at least 10 years if not more. The staff are nice and helpful but when it comes to waiting time you can either sit there for 2 or 3 hours to go into to see the doctor for all of 5 minutes or less and walk out with scripts. The parking is rediculously small and people triple park. Staff takes up at least 3-4 parking spots when there's only 8-10 to begin with. The business around the office don't let you park next to the office without risking getting towed. It's an absolute train wreck.

Julie White who is a secretary there told me that her coworker Stephanie has been ordering Spavato which is a depression medicine under a patient who has not been there in over a year insurance to cover patients whose insurance cannot cover it, and the dr has been buying it and billing it to there insurance. Over 100,000 dollars has been charged to this ladies insurance (blue cross blue shield and thanks to Julie white i have reported it to the insurance company for fraud

I wish I could give negative stars. To say this office was terrible is an understatement. The woman who was treating my teenager was always late to appointments. Sometimes an hour late to a tele appointment is absurd. Then she would only spend 5-10 minutes speaking with her only to up the dosage of the medications. They prescribed a medication that interacted with her heart medication, and when I called about it no one from the office even bothered to return my call. This place doesn't care about your mental or physical health, just your money.

Horrible person put my daughter through withdrawal 3 times now and yelled at me in the office today extremely rude and heartless

Pretty disappointed

This place is horrible; it is dirty, the service is poor, the staff talks down to patients, the doctors make no effort to investigate what is happening with the patient and is quick to diagnose and prescribe meds during a five minute visit.

Doesn't even deserve a 0 rating? He signed DMV paperwork for my son to drive while under the influence of sleep medication. He doesn't give a d n about you or your loved one or his patients. He will do whatever a patient ask of him even if it is not for their best interest.

Dr. Levingston is VERY rude, dry, and anti-social. You are literally out in minutes. He doesn't take the time to ask questions, give advise, or let his patients ask questions. He is very disconnected! The parking is another horror story. There is no parking and if you find a parking spot chances are you will be blocked in. Dr. Levingston could use a class in manors-professionalism, NOT WOTH YOUR MONEY OR TIME. He is not good at his job or with people. So if you need someone with more positivity and not everyone need medication. But for him is like okay let me just prescribe you this and that. He doesn’t care about you or about that you have to say he just is ready just to write you medication and that’s all. No support or nothing. The doctor knows his stuff, clearly well educated and knows his medicine inside out.

My daughter suffers from treatment resistant schizophrenia and Dr. Levinson was tremendous in assisting my daughter in her recovery. He was patient and effective in prescribing the medication that my daughter required. In particular, Dr. Levinson supports prescribing the medication clozapine/clozaril which other physicians shy away from due to the heavy monitoring requirements. This treatment has been very effective and my daughter has recovered a great deal under Dr. Levinson's care. We are thankful that Dr. Levinson both recommended this treatment option, but that he also supports it when other physicians will not.

It seems like your child tried many antipsychotic medications, but she didn’t respond well. “(which was true. She tried five kinds of antipsychotic medications over six months, but they had only partial effect with many unpleasant side effects.) Dr. Levinson continued. “Now there is this medication called Clozaril...” That is when I cut him off saying “Yes, please!” I usually wait until my turn, but I was desperate to give our daughter the medication as soon as possible. We missed our child so badly. He looked very surprised. My husband and I explained how we did research on Clozaril, so we learned how effective Clozaril is on the patients who are resistant with other antipsychotic medications. I also told him that we are aware of the side effects, but we are willing to start Clozaril for our daughter. We noticed the sign of recovery after three weeks she started taking Clozaril. She continued to recover slowly, but steadily. She was almost old self. However, she still heard voices every now and then. Dr. Levinson suggested to add another medication which is usually used for the treatment for epilepsy. We didn’t like the idea of adding more medication, so we told Dr. Levinson we want to think about it. He always understands, and gives us some time to think. After a couple of weeks, we asked him we want more information about supplemental medication. Dr. Levinson quickly sent us a video of this doctor explaining how adding another medication to Clozaril works. It was very resonating, so we asked to add Lamotrigine right away. Our daughter’s recovery sped up. Dr. Levinson is kind and patient, also he is on top of the latest information of the medications. Our daughter’s doctor from the hospital asked us for his contact because she knows it is hard to find a good doctor who prescribes Clozaril. Also, the therapist our daughter sees wanted Dr. Levinson’s contact info because it is simply hard to find a good conscientious psychiatrist who is good with young patients. She told me that her clients are so happy to know Dr. Levinson. Those parents call Dr. Levinson “a God Send”, and I totally agree with them. Thank you Dr. Levinson!

Disgusting office, smelled like mold and cigarette smoke. I waited almost two hours to see the doctor all for him to tell me that he doesn't prescribe the medication that I am on. Instead levinson told me that he only prescribes one type of similar medication. I demanded a refund for my co-pay and surprisingly got it. After a quick search on openpaymentsdata.gov I found that levinson is pocketing thousands dollars per year from the drug company that makes the medication he tried to force on me. Not surprised! Avoid this careless doc,does not contact you- if there is a problem, does not even have a phone in NJ, although has a office there ,calls going to PA and some mean lady answering by trying to get rid of you

I was a lab rat here in my teenage years. They've cycled me on a new antidepressant every month, which REALLY messed me up. I came in just saying that I wasn't feeling so good. He asked me no further questions, and I left with a prescription for Klonopin, and my very first SSRI. They're legal drug dealers.

Its bad enough Valerie has the attitude of a snake, but this crooked doctor lowered my elderly mother's medication DRASTICALLY without even TELLING her all of a sudden. Then, his 'answer call' person since he's too lazy to come to the phone, got angry at my mother for being upset. What kind of sickos work in this practice?! NO respect for the mentally disabled AT ALL. One of his 'students' got into a full on argument with my mom, practically demanding my 63 year old mother go back to college. What the hell??? The man is as crooked as his teeth. I began suboxone treatment there two weeks ago. You are required to list any medications that you are currently taking, which I did. I am prescribed medication for ADHD. He started me on a 16mg a day dose of suboxone films; two (2) 8 mg films a day. When I went back today to get my prescription, he tells me that he has to terminate treatment with me because I am prescribed an addictive medication? My question is, why did you even start me on the suboxone knowing I was taking the medication that is now the reason for terminating my treatment? Did you even bother to look at the papers that I spent 30 minutes filling out? Or are you to busy pulling the wool over the peoples eyes that are in dire need of your assistance? The man would not even look me in the eyes as he figuratively f***** me with his convoluted concept of how to practice medicine. I feel bad for the students that intern/shadow with him and the lovely receptionists that have to put up with his "better than everyone else" attitude. The man is sick and his malpractice is sicker. Not good at all! I had a 9 AM appointment and I did not go into the doctors room until 1030, then when I got in there I was in there a matter of two minutes and it was very uncomfortable, he had an "assistant" in there but it was more like a student or something like that, he took absolutely zero time to ask me how I was doing or feeling or any kind of anything he just said here you go "refill" I'll see you in two weeks, not what I'm looking for in a doctor. The one receptionist is very sweet she is very nice the other one is extremely rude and unhelpful, very unprofessional she was making noises and just being nasty to me because she had to do something a little bit extra for me but was still her job, it was nothing out of the ordinary. Valerie is awesome she is so willing to help you with any problems that you may have and the doctor is amazing too I've been too many doctors before but none of them were as great as dr.lev he really cares about people and I would refer anybody to him

I recently starting going to this doctor and everyone is so nice. Valerie, Stephanie, and Iesha are very helful and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Levinson is also very nice and listens to me and helps me with my needs.

am looking for a new doctor, he does not explain anything. Office staff is extremely rude. Have been trying to get my records for over a month, office refuses to give them to me, totally illegal. Secretaries are on a power trip over the patients and are lacking in empathy.

I have seen Dr. Levinson a number of times over the past several years. My conditions are under control and I respond well to the prescribed medications, so I am not the most complex patient. However, I do feel that Dr. Levinson is a conscientious physician and not just a dispenser of scripts. Sometimes the office wait times can be long but he is good about booking appointments on short notice.

I am hook on Opioids try to break off twice could not do it went to Dr. Levinson First thing because of the number of people in the waiting room he could not talk to me about my condition ask couple of question and wrote a script for more medicine. It was fine for the first three visits then I got sick and went to the emergency room where they have me medicine couple of days went to Dr. Levinson where he check my urine found the medicine that the emergency room gave me and threw me out.

Doris the therapist told my daughter that I am emotionally abusive, because I parent her, won't let her run wild, won't put up with her being disrespectful, destroying the house, make her clean her room and won't take my bill money and spend it on whatever my daughter thinks she should have just because she wants it.

Seriously people, Valerie, the receptionist is awesome, a total professional. She does an incredible job considering just how many recovering addicts, faxes,bloody phone calls, computer & desktop work she deals w a day, not to mention all of Levinson's regular patients. She is a testimat to assistants/receptionists everywhere! And sweet Stephanie, she's an efficient nurse who's on her feet all day taking vitals, UA's & computer/desktop work. She's always on top of things. Let's not forget Dorris, the resident therapist, LCSW. This woman just simply rocks!! You've never felt more comfortable than w Dorris & she has a way of bringing the truth to my eyes. It's helped me have a clearer look at myself, wich we all know can be extremely difficult. Then we have Doctor Levinson, he's a straight to the point no bs kinda guy who saves lives like mine all year long. He gives all his addiction patients a second chance at life. This doctors office is a well oiled machine. Even though he is a gentle and soft-spoken doctor I didn't understand why he thought it was funny that I "drove all the way here all for nothing". I really didn't see the humor in it, however, he sounds like a gentle, soft-spoken doctor and maybe he's ok.

I saw Dr Levinson in his Lehighton office. His staff is not at all friendly. You are lucky if they respond with anything other then what the are required to. Dr Levinson barely said anything to me and automatically renewed prescriptions. During my appointments I would sit there while he would stare at his computer and type. I needed to initiate any conversation and he did not seem interested at all. I would never recommend him to anybody and I would tell people that see him to look elsewhere.

The old lady secretary was rude and unprofessional. Very argumentative over the phone. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated in a professional manner. Unbelievable!
