Ira W. Stockwell

I absolutely adore Dr. Stockwell and his wife. They are the sweetest ever. I travel almost 2 hours to be seen by them, because it is so important to me to have a doctor who truly cares, and wants to help people struggling get on their feet and build a strong foundation for a successful life. I have never felt judged, or less than when seeing or speaking with both of them on the phone. I HAVE received encouragement, support, empathy, understanding, love, kindness, and suggestions out of love when I am struggling or having a hard time. I can not recommend Dr. Stockwell enough. I wish every doctor treated those of us struggling the way Dr. Stockwell treats us. 2 amazing people with beautiful hearts. I know if it wasn't for Dr. Stockwell and his wife, I would not be where I am today.

Great guy, doc and his wife are old school compassionate people.. I would recommend him to anybody who's tired of being screwed around by the medical system, he actually cares and takes his job seriously yet down to earth.

Absolutely wonderful team! He and Mrs Stockwell are the hardest working team and couple in the medical field! I can’t say how much they both mean to me! Wonderful folks! The first time I saw Dr Stockwell was in 1973 when I was in my early 20's. There's been times when he's called me on a Sunday just to get a little more information and see how I was doing. Very friendly and Professional really nice people

Dr. Stovkwell is an amazing doctor, he is honest and helpful. He may not always tell you what you want to hear but in my experience it’s what you need to hear. He has been a vital part in helping me to improve the quality of my life and to overcome tough medical conditions. I truly appreciate his commitment to helping people with his knowledge of medicine.

Dr. Stockwell is a very old school doctor. Not very interested in getting to the root cause of health problems. Orders lot of unnecessary tests and relies on prescribing pills. He has very little up to date information. Dr. Stockwell does not really practice osteopathic medicine at all. The Maine center for Healthcare is poorly run. It is almost impossible to get a live person on the phone. All in all it has been a very frustrating experience and I will no longer be a patient there
