Dr. Iyad A Kashow

Dr. Iyad Kashow demonstrates racially, biased attitude towards his patients. He’s more concerned with coverage than he is regarding their ongoing course of treatment. It is also impossible to reach him in cases of emergency. I would not recommend for primary care services.

Very disappointed with this doctor, refused to send me for needed diagnostic tests. Thank God I found another caring doctor who sent me immediately for CT scan which showed severe sinus infection that needed immediate antibiotics treatment. It could have cost me my life if I didn’t take initiative to see another doctor right away. Dr Kashow seemed very cold and indifferent. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed.

I have seen Dr. Kashow for well over 15yrs. He is a phenomenal physician and his knowledge of natural supplements is amazing. He always tries to recommend natural supplements instead of prescription medications when appropriate. My wife and I always feel our health is in great hands with him as our physician.

He loves prescribing drugs. He denied I had a adverse drug reaction. Because of that I had to stop seeing him. He insisted it wasn’t the medication they gave me my symptoms. I approved it working with another Doctor Who is more credible

Family Doctor gone bad! I never write bad reviews! Last week was 15 mins late even called in to inform due to traffic. Once arriving the Secretary stated that he is very busy and that he might not be able to see you today. I said "really?" She replied "yes!" I sat down and waited 15-20 mins into waiting I was told by the reception lady to reschedule and come back in 2 weeks. Did my best not to get upset as I have depression and know when that does to me if I get worked up... Fast forward 2 weeks left my apartment 1 hour early this time. Traffic was a B trust me...not fun! As I arrived again late but not by much. I walked/jogged in saying sorry I know I’m late again. My bad! The receptionist told me late again. I said traffic was bumper to bumper. I mean this will happen when your scheduled for a 4:00 doc appointment. But anyways she said I don’t know if he’s going to be able to see you again. I replayed again...? I can’t wait another 2 weeks I need my meds. She looked at me as if to say...does it look like I give a ———- ! Waited patiently as many people pass me by. Finally get called I walk back to the room as instructed. Sit in the room for maybe 1 min before Kashow walks in the door. Mind you there’s now NO ONE IN THE WAITING ROOM!!! NO ONE!!! Just me... The second he walks in starts accusing me of everything I’m definitely aware of minus a few details. Doctor: I saw you on the schedule 2 weeks ago but you where 45 mins late and then left... Me: Wiat what??? I was 15 mins late and called in. The receptionist told me it might be best to reschedule. So I did as she asked without talking to you. Doctor: Aaron I don’t believe you I believe them!!! Me: I’m sorry what? I’m not trying to pick sides here I’m just telling what I did??? Doctor: I get here on time every morning. There’s no reason for you to be late! Me: You leave at 5:30am in the morning to get here not 4pm during rush hour! Doctor: I don’t care about your story’s Me: I’m sorry I don’t feel very comfortable right now I feel like your attacking me. I’m here for a 3 min doctor appointment. And your yelling at me because you miss understood the situation. As I was about to continue... Doctor: Get out of my office!!! Me: wait??? Doctor: You need to get out of my office now!!! Me: wow...really? I asked...? Feeling very uncomfortable I proceeded to walk out as I was doing so the doctor told the secretary to get all my info transferred to a new doctor! The receptionist didn’t bat an eye as it seemed as if I was being ganged up on!!? And that leads me to my closing statement! Why family doctors aren’t the way to go anymore. If they decide to go on vacation and you need a z-pack you have to wait till he’s available. Not good! If you need to see a doctor he’s the only guy you can see. So if he’s not around what do you do??? It’s not safe nor is it right! I have bad depression and the doctor knows this so his actions to a patient with this issue is a horrible outcome! I just took a Xanax to settle down from a doctors appointment. If you see kashow and you love him please don’t stop seeing him. But don’t be late even by a min or he’ll snap on you! Best Dr ever nothing more to say !!!!!!!!!

Absolutely great doctor, very thorough, extremely patient. He has been my PCP for last 7 years, and I cant think of anything I would change. Even his office staff is great..

Great doctor. He really believes is preventive medicine. I have been seeing him for years and have been very happy with the service he provides. You might not like what he has to say but he is looking out for your best interest always.
