The New Dr (Hasanuddin Harrison, MD ) is ok but every time I see him he asks me if I "drink" ( ie alcohol ???? ????) , as if I am a drunk or something. I keep him telling him NO I do NOT drink ????. Even when i asked him to send my prescription to Vons pharmacy he said  "Isn't that a liquor store?" And he laughed. Say what? Obviously he does NOT know this area very well because anybody who does, knows that Vons is a chain of grocery stores around Southern Cal that  also has a pharmacy inside. Yes, they sell liquor just like almost every other grocery store but that does not make them a liquor store. Why would I ask him to send my prescription to a liquor store ? I know of no liquor store that has a pharmacy by the way. For that matter I do NOT go to liquor stores meaning those stores that sell only liquor or mostly just liquor . I started coming to see Dr Wong when she was actually at the older office down the street & when I was still a teacher for the LAUSD,  and I was also attending Fuller seminary working on my Masters- in- Divinity, which, like becoming a doctor, also takes a lot of work, dedication, and intelligence. I continue to come and go from Southern Cal and maintain an address here as I do mission work and ministry around the country and still even another parts of the world ???? ✝️????. Now Dr Wong works in the afternoons only so I just accepted seeing the morning doctor and he seems to be alert and capable but for some reason he has a FALSE IMPRESSION about me and drinking alcohol. Even after my blood test show that I'm in pretty good health. The main reason I come to see the doctor is for CHRONIC PAIN in my left side and especially my leg probably related to the cervical spine or lumbar , as well as possible bursitis or arthritis. I hope this reaches somebody in the office and maybe they can print it out and hand it to him or show it to him. Ask me once if I drink that's reasonable,  but three times with a little bit of an insinuation starts to impugn my character ????. By the way, there's nothing immoral or reckless about a little drinking in moderation. I just choose NOT to drink at this point in my life . And also by the way I have doctors in my extended family and I know a little thing or two about  doctor lifestyles and know they're not exactly all Puritans. Furthermore I also worked at hospitals around doctors as a chaplain & social worker, so I also have had some eye-opening experience working around doctors. A doctor who really cares!

Dr. Wong is good, but Alhambra Family Medical Center is just horrible. Don't visit them. They only accept cash. They don't accept your flexible spending or health saving card or debit card, not to mention credit card. This is totally ridiculous. I have never heard of a medical facility or clinic before that only receives cash. They don't provide you a formal receipt either which you can use to file claim to your flexible spending account or health saving account or your insurance by yourself. So basically you have to paid the copay out of your own pocket and cannot get reimbursed. They lie. When I scheduled the visit over phone they told me I could pay the copay using Paypal and then when I visited their office they told me they don't accept Paypal, and their staff all pretended none of them know about that. Their staff are very rude and impatient, not even bother to say a complete sentence with you. This is definitely the worst medical office I have visited.

Very difficult to call in the clinic. Nobody is answering telephone calls.

Dr. Jacqueline Wong is amazing, listens to my concerns and explains her treatments.

When I moved to the westside, I let my insurance switch me to UCLA but I went back to Dr Wong. She is excellent!

The worse office and doctor you can probably find! First time visit the doctor, she was very impatient and didn’t care about my concerns. I told her I have pain but she told me to do physical exam first then deal with my pain the next visit, are you kidding me? So then I changed my doctor, I told the front desk I need to transfer my medical records to my new doctor, called, but didn’t happen, so I went to the office, they gave me the wrong form to sign. Few days later I called to see if they did it, then they told me it was the wrong form. I gave all the information over the phone, the girl in charge of records said she will do it when she has time. A month later, I called to check, she then told me I didn’t ask my doctor to request my records. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! PEOPLE HERE ARE UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESIONAL!!!!! I go there to see doctor Wong ...ever since she was in her original office a few blocks away.. I usually enjoy her disposition and attitude but she has one particular person on her staff who I realize Now does not like me and this person does a lot of the clerical work and she can make things happen fast or slow and when it comes to me because she doesn't like me I realize now that she is making things happen slowly... so I have to make a choice whether I continue to go there because I DO like dr. Wong but I don't like this person on her staff who seems to be prejudiced towards me ...EVEN THOUGH I don't know how she knows anything about me apart from the few interactions concerning medical records and insurance we've had on the phone... it's disappointing because I want to stay with Dr. Wong but I'm not sure I can with this person interfering... Excellent physician. Front office is not functioning as it should. I changed physicians so I could get a specific allergist for my asthma. I'm happier with her than I was with the other one.

I have been coming to see Dr. Wong since my childhood. Her staff is awesome and Dr. Wong is amazing.

She is an excellent physician. Her front office staff is very disorganized and not functioning as it should including temperament of those individuals. Long wait usually. Expected at any doctors offices but a bit too long here. I was happy with her even though it was farther from my house than the man I had within walking distance my house. I needed to change doctors to see a specific allergist.

The front office staffs are horrible. They keep arguing with me about my insurance I checked already and they are in network but they keep saying I'm not. Instead of picking up the phone to check with the insurance they just argue with me, the patient.

Bad experience at this clinic !

Decent place but the wait time is ridiculous. The doctor is super cool and nice! Really caring when it comes down to making sure he understands how to help you. But pretty rude staff to be hones. And yeah! Needs more doctors!!

I'm very happy with Dr. Wong. She is a caring, intelligent Doctor and I feel like she really cares for her patient. It is a very busy clinic but that's to be expected with the insurance set up these days

place is nice, visit takes from 1hr to an hour and a half.....front desk staff are rude,they take there time assisting patients if you have a question they tell you ask your doctor,when your name is called you wait in the back in a room for another 30 to 45 minutes....that doctor office needs more doctors!
