I was in ICU at VA. The physician was working very hard. They spent enough time with me and my husband so that we could understand what is going on with me. The ICU team was very busy and I appreciate what they did for me.

Dr. Porhomayon was the attending in the VA hospital in Buffalo who was SUPPOSED to be overlooking the medical care for my husband. I never saw him, he never checked in, and only had Trevor R. Miller, a medical resident intern, come check. They were so busy socializing down at the station that even when I complained numerous times something was wrong with my husband, he would roll his eyes or briefly give an order to the nurse, without checking my husband. This resulted in my husband's death.
