Jamal Morrisette Bullocks

He did a HORRIBLE!!!! job on my reconstructive surgery after my double mastectomy. the breast are not the same. The right one turns to the side and is uncomfortable when I drive. The left breast has a big indention above the implant and I can put my knuckles in the area. they both hang down, there is also a big fat pad under my right arm that is not on my left side. Please!!!! don't use him. You don't want to look like me.

Dr bullocks is very dismissive upon meeting him he made me feel so bad and let down he was supposed to do my mastectomy 2/6/2020 I went into the office for him to explain the procedure and he said what he was supposed to do but never explaining it in full details so I left his office in tears and looked up what the procedure that he was doing the next day I emailed him to explain how was it that I had to do the research on my own when he was my dr. Dr. Jamal Bullock and his staff is amazing. I had surgery Monday June 14. Today 5 days later I seen my body. Dr. Bullock you and your team is amazing. His bedside manners are amazingly professional. I woke up and he was just standing there waiting on me to wake up. Dr. Bullock thank you for restoring my quality of life.

My experience with Dr. Bullocks for the first time left me feeling uneasy. He was very dismissive and not welcoming. Upon entering the room I greeted him with enthusiasm and was met with a straight face, no smile or even a grin. As I proceeded to ask questions, he belittled and undermined my questions, ultimately insulting my intelligence. I left the Main Campus feeling very uncomfortable. Great bed side manners, awesome doctor

I liked coming to the office because everyone was so warm and friendly. Dr. Bullock has such a sweet spirit and he did an amazing job at explaining everything to me. I had a very clear understanding of what is going on with my body. I have been beating myself up for a few years now and feeling very insecure because nothing has worked to help my situation. I hate the way I look in clothes and I look forward to having surgery so that I can get back to feeling like myself. I also love the fact that he is a black surgeon. I agree with all the reviews I have read.Dr Bullocks has wonderful bedside manner and answers all question in an understandable way. But I need some reviews on the finish product. My 1st part was wonderful but my post surgery I am not to happy.

Dr. Bullocks was presented by Kelsey-Seybold clinic as expert in breast cancer reconstruction. He performed my initial surgery at the same time as my mastectomy. Afterward I was told my cancer was Stage 3, needing radiation therapy. Dr. Bullocks said wait until 6 months after radiation to have the next reconstruction surgery. After 2nd surgery, my breast started swelling with fluid & his office had to keep draining it. At 3rd draining, I asked what was the matter. His assistant said the problem was the radiation, that “you never know how the flesh will react”. I asked if that is true, why did he perform the surgery? I received no answer & he left. My new plastic surgeon said prudent surgeons do not perform elective surgery on radiated flesh for that exact reason & now they can’t even cut if off (again due to the radiation). I will spend the rest of my life with a scarred, discolored, lumpy faux breast. I thought he was an experienced expert, not reckless & negligent.

Words can’t express my gratitude for Dr. Bullocks and his team. When I was at my lowest point he reassured me that everything was going to be ok. He performed reconstruction surgery after my bilateral mastectomy. My results are second to none, I’m still amazed and pleased with the outcome.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bullocks for almost a year, from the moment I met him, I knew I was in good hands. He is calm and patient and answered all my questions and concerns very professionally, yet with the utmost compassion. I had a combo hysterectomy, panniculectomy and tummy-tuck. I am close to 6 months post-opp and the results are phenomenal. The hip-to-hip incision is well hidden (cannot see it with at all while wearing swim wear bottom) and the contour is very natural looking. Over a year later, my stomach is hard and buldging. I cannot wear any pants except elastic waist and those slide down over my belly to my lower crotch. The scar around my navel is way outside of the navel creating a "bullseye" effect which is very unsightly. My right nipple was cut unevenly and is unsightly. The navel and the nipple cannot be fixed. I have just given up on having any good results. Over a year later, my stomach is hard and buldging. I met with Dr Bullocks almost a year before I actually had surgery. During that time I interviewed other plastic surgeons and decided to go with Dr Bullocks because of his honesty and integrity. I had a breast reduction, hernia repair and tummy tuck. It’s been almost 2 years and I’ve very pleased with my results.
