I had a deep 2 inch laceration above the ankle on one of my legs from an aluminum wall stud. Dr. Bonner treated me in the ER. He told me that he was doing a mattress stitch to minimize scarring. Years later there is no evidence of even the slightest scarring such that I can no longer remember which legs the laceration was on and I have no way of telling. There was no infection or problem with the incident after he treated me. He also had a very good bedside manner which is not always the case with physicians these days. He also didn't seem like he was in a hurry and ready to run off to another patient when he treated me, which is so common with physicians these days.
