Dr. James Louis Colocotronis

The business isn't run well. I was going there for two years and since my insurance changed and they had "met the quota" with my new insurance carrier for the year, I was turned away. When I made my appointment for the new year the receptionist told me that she didn't say they couldn't take my insurance for the year she said in general, which was a lie. She continued to argue with me on the phone with a horrible attitude, then the owner said he "has to draw the line somewhere" about not taking new patients with my insurance. 100% do not recommend unless you want to be disrespected.

My wife always spoke highly of Dr. Colocotronis office and kept insisting I move over to seeing him. I took my time and wasted a lot time and money. When I finally went I was pleased with how Dr. Colocotronis explained to me what needed work first to save teeth and moved on from there. Today I have a wonder smile and my dental health has never been better. Now I look forward to maintaining my dental health with every cleaning and talking to Sarah about building greenhouses. I started coming to Dr. Colocotronis' dental practice over 12 years ago. I had a lot of trouble with other dental offices having high employee turn around and hygienists who were not well trained. But this did not happen when I started going to Dr. Colocotronis office. Sarah greets me at the desk every time for 12 years and the hygienist Kathy takes extra care in making sure you enjoy your cleaning, not fear it. The same staff has been with Dr. Colocotronis for as long as I've been going to see them and you can see it in the friendliness of the office and the high standard of dental care they all give and you receive! I've been getting cleanings here for the last 5 years and I've had a couple cavities filled along the way. Dr. Colocotronis, Kate (hygienist), and Sara (office admin) are all a pleasure to work with. Yesterday, my 4 year old did even know he got a shot! Jim and his staff are very kid-friendly. Jim knows kids are scared of needles, so he numbed the area and administered the novocaine without my son knowing. Then my son got his very first filling without struggle or fuss. This is very important to us, because we want our kids to grow up loving the dentist. Jim and his staff actually makes this possible. They're great with adults too. I have recommended several coworkers to Jim's and they love him. Some coworkers have very specific dental needs and are very self-conscious and cautious about who they trust. The receptionist is kind, professional and knowledgeable, which is important when setting up your first appointment. Friendly and accommodating to families.

Not currently seeing him but when I did, he was wonderful !!!! Knows his stuff and very personable and down to earth.

Had a crown put on and regular visits. Very knowledgeable and friendly to talk too. The receptionist knew me every time, also very pleasant on the phone.

Great experience , I was terrified to go to the dentist until I came here. I would recommend him to anyone. Everyone in the office is pleasant. Also you are in and out of there in no time!

Horrible experience . I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. My husband had a crown put on and a couple cavities filled. He has had nothing but problems with his teeth since.. Pain, sensitivity. My children were also seen by the dentist who we were later told they do not accept our insurance, we are now stuck with the total amount of the bill.
