He was a very professional therapist and attentive to my needs and concerns but once my insurance changed from BC/BS to Medicaid because of my mental health disability he just stopped calling me and returning my phone calls. I asked if he accepted Medicaid he said yes but their payments come too slow after that, I no longer heard from him and the disability determination couldn’t get any paperwork or returned phone call from him, thank god they had enough information from my doctors to approve he for disability.

Words can't describe how highly I recommend Jim Doran. He doesn't take notes, instead has an uncanny ability to remember details of previous conversations - probably because he truly cares about each patient. He has helped me in so many ways and is the most sincere, honest and knowledgeable therapist I have ever met. He is a one-man office so don't be alarmed if he answers the phone during session, but will immediately be off the call and not lose a beat in your conversation.

Cancelled on me short notice so he could take another client. Did not remain cognizant of the fact that Christianity was an aspect of therapy I sought to delve into. Made me feel like he just overall preferred not to counsel me.

Jim is an extremely helpful therapist. I would recommend him to any one of my family or friends. Jim has a true compassion that one can not fake and genuinely seems interested in finding solutions that will work for you. He has been extremely useful to me in my current situation and I can not thank him enough.

Without hesitation, I would recommend him to anyone.I have confidence in my own decisions that I did not possess prior. He does not have a staff. He will answer the phone while you are there. He will not stay on the phone (less than 1 min.) and he will not loose a beat or be distracted. His office is not nice or fancy, but is that really the important thing? He does not take notes, but pays attention. He interacts, explains and will remember all in your next visit. He has a gift.
