Highly skilled surgeon.

Dr Fogartie has successfully helped keep my 94 1/2 yo mom heart healthy all these years. By working in conjunction with her great primary care doc he has monitored and explained to me my moms “torturous” twists and turns in her heart but despite an Indy500 like route she is not a good candidate for surgery and he is wise enough to let us know all these years that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. She had a heart murmur too, but again just meds have worked all these years. Many surgeons would gladly take the money and just start cutting at the first abnormality, but I appreciate his wisdom that he is honest about risk is greater than reward. He (and staff) are so friendly and he always talks aviation or history with my mom who is a WW2 airplane assembler. He is genuinely interested in the person and is a great listener, not just making money as fast as he can. He respects you and treats you with dignity. He also was kind and made my 5 year old laugh when we first started going to him. He will fix your heart bc he is wise and above all he has a good heart and head for people. He breaks down the complex and makes it understandable too and puts you at ease. A wonderful doc and person. Great staff too.

Contacted Dr. Fogrtie to get my aviation medical exam. He was extremely knowledgeable in aviation, talking with me about planes and flying. I'm really glad I got exam with him, I recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Fogartie has done two angiograms to resolve blockages in my lower leg and surgery to clean out a carotid artery. I cannot say enough about how totally satisfied I am with the final results. He has a wonderful staff to assist him.
