The P.A. called last week, and when I told him I was still having some pain, they got me in to see Dr. Gallentine five days later. They wanted to make sure nothing was amiss, so they had me get blood work the day before the appointment and they took x-rays at the appointment. Dr. Gallentine was then able to refer to both of these, as well as checking my range of movement and asking some questions about my progress. By the time I left, I felt comfortable with Dr. Gallentine's reassurance that I was progressing satisfactorily albeit slowly. He plans to have me come in again in two months for him to check on me. I feel very confident in the care I am receiving.

He’s very kind and knowledgeable, listened, and helped me make a decision, so appreciated. John was extremely helpful alsi, thank you both!

Dr. G was very cordial and explained my situation. He comes highly recommended by others he treated.

Dr. Gallentine Just performed my second hip replacement approximately 10 days ago. I have had virtually no pain, I'm walking without a walker, crutches, or a cane. I am amazed at how fast I am healing. I 100% recommend Dr. Gallentine, in fact, I call him "The Hip Whisperer."

have had both hips replaced since 9/22/22, and it was so wonderful for the pain to be gone, upon waking up from the surgeries. Dr. Gallentine is wonderful to work with and he has 2 top notch PA's, both wonderful, also. his staff is great and personable

Dr. Gallentine is very thorough in his explanation of the treatment that he will be doing or recommends to you. Dr. Gallentine leaves you with a confidence that you have done the right thing coming in to see the Doctor. He takes the stress off the decisions that sometimes have to be made to feel better.

Dr. Gallentine is easy to talk with and explains what needs to happen next.

I had a great consultation with Dr Galletine. He was professional, friendly and took the were time to go over everything with me.

Dr. Gallantine was much more helpful than when I saw him in 2020. The first time he was very abrupt, and said that my hip was a mess and I needed surgery. This time he asked about my activity level and functionality of my hip. He said that he would not recommend surgery right away. This time was much more helpful, and I could have avoided worrying for 2 years and scheduling and cancelling surgery.

I’m just like everyone else….when it comes to my personal health issues I looking for the BEST. So I checked with all resources and the name that always came up was Dr. Gallentine, so that’s where I’ve gone and the resources were right!! Dr. G is the best!!

Recently in April of 2022 I had decided to have a total knee replacement. I had done some research and decided to have Dr. James Gallentine as my surgeon because of his specialty in knee surgery. I am 71 years of age and at age 3 in 1954 I became infected with polio which severely damaged my right leg. At age 16 and several operations my doctor decided to put 12 staples in my left knee to stop it from growing so the right leg would catch up it was 3 inches shorter which it did after a few years. As a result my left leg had done all the work. I didn't let polio stop me from doing things I started helping on the farm at age 8 and farmed in Nebraska for 36 years and became a technician in autobody and painter for 25 years. Retired at age 61 I had suffered pain in the left knee for years and refused to give into surgery. But my body told me it was time to have this done. I'm so happy I had my knee replaced the actual thing of walking without pain was so overwhelming I couldn't believe I waited so long. Dr. Gallentine told the staples had to come which I became concerned about that procedure he and I both didn't know how that would turn out. The result surgery was an extra hour and couldn't remove all of the staples however surgery went ok and as of this day I'm 6 weeks out from surgery bending my knee at 117 degrees two more therapy sessions and getting around so good. Dr. Gallentine I believe is a very good surgeon. His surgical team Lincoln Surgery Center were very good. A very fine experience and outcome for me.

Such a caring Doctor and his staff is just as caring. Very friendly, takes time to answer questions, just a great guy! I would recommend him to anyone contemplating any kind of ortho surgery.

Dr. James Gallentine has provided me with outstanding medical care for the past 10 years. He replaced my left knee 10 years ago when I was 63 which has allowed me to remain active and enjoy all the things I love to do like cycling, pickleball, skiing, hiking, golf and playing with our grandchildren. James is a warm and caring physician who will take time to carefully listen and evaluate your condition and offer various options for care. His support staff members are also warm, capable and competent as well. James and his Team continue to monitor my knees and hips as the aging process continues. Took time to explain things clearly. I never felt rushed. Office staff were very friendly.

In my opinion there should be 10 stars. I am so glad that I had people recommend Dr. Gallentine for my hip replacement surgery. I had the surgery in the morning and was able to walk after lunch. On my first step I noticed the pain in my knee and calf was gone. That was the hope we had. Every time I have called his office with stupid questions, someone talked to me. No answer machines or press 5 numbers and then the answer machine. That way important to me. I told someone that he isn't just an M.D. in my mind he is also a magician. I was just released as my hip problems which had been troubling me for over 3 years and misdiagnosed by another ortho doc elsewhere are complete. I was referred to Dr. Gallentine and found him to live up to the reputation he was referred for. I will probably never be able to do things I once could 10 years ago but I now am pain free from the injury I had dealt with for over 3 years. His knowledge, his ability to listen and suggest the best treatment on a patient by patient basis only confirms how much of a great physician he is. I owe him my ability to walk near normal and the dedication his staff has is to be commended. I will definitely refer him to anyone. Dr. Gallentine did both of my hip replacement surgeries. I had a very fast recovery with both of them. He is very thorough and interested in any problems I am having. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for hip replacement.

How this so called doctor has a good reputation I'll never know. I've been having knee problems for the past 3-4 years now. This doctor came recommended from a friend. I told him about the issues I was having and also about other appointments I had. I probably could have had a more meaningful conversation with the door. He had me do some x-rays and MRI which I made clear I had previously had done but he clearly didn't want to listen. In the end he told me to just keep an eye on my knee. No diagnosis, no medicine, no other recommendations. NOTHING. Total waste of time and money. How this so called doctor has a good reputation I'll never know.
