James C Harmon

Dr. Harmon is definitely old school but I like that, actually. He always sees you quickly, you never have to wait, and he knows his stuff. People may be giving negative reviews because his office is on the outdated side but his staff is friendly and he’s just an old school type doctor. He has treated me and my daughter (effectively, I may add) for three years now and we like how quick and easy it is to get an appointment and get a prescription for little things like colds, etc without having to take an entire day to get in and out. This doctor won't even take new patients unless they live in Habersham County. Banks county is 1/2 mile from his office. Too bad find a different doctor. How crazy! Are you that rich that you can turn away patients?

Former patient. I was able to walk in and tell him what scripts I wanted. The office manager (also Dr Harmon), has the craziest “rules”. He doesn’t take anyone that has serious illness (diabetes, etc), claiming that he “does not care for serious illness”. That being said, even those with chronic illness need a primary care physician. He’s a true “quack” of a doctor and his receptionist judges everyone as narcotic seeking people (literally the first thing said to me when I walked into their office). I wasn’t seeking narcotics. ???????????? I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a while, but switched doctors when I found another in the county that accepts my insurance because the pharmacy even exclaimed that the combo of drugs he was giving me were dangerous.
