Went in with a consult with my husband (both current patients of this group). Trying to get an endoscopy/colonoscopy scheduled ASAP to determine original site of stage 4 cancer. Put us off over 3 weeks even though current patients. Then when wanted to move date due to start of chemo regime, was going to move it another 4 weeks. Everyone was nice, doctors explained in detail what would be done. No wait time, everyone was professional and made me feel confident in their expertise

Good experience, for 5 minutes, before I was sedated. Then, it’s impossible to see or communicate with Dr. Rholl. That should’ve been a red flag right there. I’ve had to see the NP twice, and there’s another red flag. I’m not qualified to diagnose, but she has a poor bedside manner, hates her job, bored, incompetent, lacking in compassion, all of the above? I walked out of that office today, won’t be back, and have told the dr who referred me there. She has an *attitude*, has no answers, then tried to guilt trip me that I wasn’t “nice”. Told me I was nauseous due to alcohol, when I’ve had a stroke, have an underlying neurological condition, and have long Covid. My husband said she needs a new profession, without humans, like computer programming. Unfortunately, it’s the practice that’ll suffer. (Sadly, this is the second Pardee dr I’ve given a poor review to this week! A Pardee neurologist seriously messed up my prescription, until I became SICKER). Consumer Beware.

He was very friendly great bedside manners, did a great job. I was worried never had it done before he sensed it and helped me through it! The staff assisting him was also great! Would recommend him to others.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rholl’s for about 15 years. He’s an expert in his field, knowledgeable, supportive, warm and straight forward. The same goes for the staff at DHP. I highly recommend them.

My grandfather went in for a basic one hour procedure. Something went wrong, the procedure lasted 2 hours, and Dr. Rholl didn't share what had gone awry. Less than 24 hours later he had developed infection in his liver, and sepsis. He had to return to Pardee to the ER. He had another emergency procedure to repair the first with no improvement but the development of fluid in his lungs. He fought for two weeks and died after that from the complications. Very helpful and thorough. Nice and informative.

I had an issue with one of the doctors who told me the practice does not treat problems with the esophagus even though the answering message says they do. I changed doctors and I am much pleased with my treatment now. I believe the practice is now combined with an Asheville practice so there is no competition in the area.

I had a colonoscopy at Carolina Mountain Gastro. Rholl was my doctor for the procedure. He explained everything thoroughly. Was very professional and a good doctor. No problems. For anyone worrying about a colonoscopy. The hardest part is the prep. It was a breeze.

I have seen doctor Rholl for many years for routine procedures. Last year I had a persistent problem I felt he failed to attend to adequately. It was difficult to get a meeting with him. When we did meet he did not seem collaborative and was resistant to the treatment I eventually chose which helped me a great deal. My impression is he does excellent work but prescribed PPI meds too frequently despite effects. It is also difficult to get an appointment with a doctor instead of a PA.

The staff is SO friendly and help here. They are efficient and are on track with their appointment times. I love this place!!!!! They are 10x better than Asheville Gastro.
