My daughter had an appointment at this office yesterday at 4:00 pm. She had trouble getting out of her parking garage..the gate malfunctioned and she was stuck in there for 30 minutes... she walked in right at 4:00 and they said that she would have to reschedule. She explained that she came all the way from Denver and raced to get there on time but they wouldn't see her. She got off work early, had to go in an hour early that morning to make up the time and they would not see her...she was very apparently upset and had just drove an hour trying to get there on time... we thought maybe with all of these trying times, they would extend her a little "grace" guess we were wrong. Staff is awesome. Dr Summers listens, is intelligent and kind. Got into my appointment quickly and got quick answers to problems I’ve been having. I recommend him all the way.

Dr. Summers was exceptional! He was respectful and supportive of our birthing plan! We are very thankful for his work and highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks for your care Dr. Summers!

I really feel like every doctor at the Banner OB/GYN clinic cares about their patients, except Dr. Summers. After telling me at my 39 week appointment that we could schedule an induction at my 40 week appointment, 40 weeks comes around and he tells me he won’t discuss it until 41 weeks. He said he would call in a prescription for my reflux, and then just flat out failed to call it in. He seems more interested in placating his patients than actually addressing their concerns. He is also very rough when examining for dilation - both times I was checked by Dr. Summers it was a very painful experience, whereas other practitioners were far more gentle. Now I’m full-term and terrified that I’m going to be stuck with this guy for my delivery. Very disappointing. Not the way I wanted to wrap up my pregnancy experience. I was taken to the ER by ambulance when I miscarried because I had been bleeding so much. I was so scared because of a bad experience with a previous miscarriage a few years ago. I explained that to Dr Summers and he was very kind, patient and understanding. He sat by me until I was out for the D&C. I will be eternally grateful to him for not rushing or getting frustrated with me in such a difficult time for me. Thank you so much Dr Summers. Dr. Summers was our main doctor for my first baby and we had some complications. He was incredible with explaining what was happening and what was needed to make sure the baby and I were safe. He wasn't able to deliver my son, but he made sure to come and check on us when he got on shift. I am pregnant with my second and he has been awesome just walking us through the whole process with another set of complications happening. We would highly recommend him! Dr. Summer's saved my life. His expertise and knowledge got me the correct diagnosis. He has fought the insurance company to get me the scans and care I need. He researched my condition and has guided me through the most difficult time in my life. He loves his profession and shows that in the care he gives his patients. I would not be alive today without him. I am forever grateful and blessed to have him as my doctor.

Needed endo hysterectomy, was in severe pain. Had a conversation regarding how pelvic pain in women is historically marginalized and it has been scientifically proven to be at times as painful as a heart attack. He got me in within the week, surgery was BEYOND peaceful, caring, and pretty epic. Thank you for taking my pain seriously, and for having an amazing team. Y'all amazing. 10/10

Dr. Summers was the delivering doctor for the birth of my daughter, and he was fantastic. I had some post-birth bleeding complications and he took wonderful care of me, getting me back to perfect health. He's also friendly, funny, and provides thorough explanations to your questions and care.

I will never let this man near me or my child. When I came in to see him I had borderline high blood pressure, headaches and swelling in my feet, and his response to me was "welcome to being pregnant." and sent me on my way, not to come in for another month. 1 month later I ended up with gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia. I had to be induced at 34 weeks and my son and I spent a week in the hospital, with him being in NICU and me with high blood pressure.

Dr, Summers was great. He took time to listen and explained all options that were available. He took the time to rule out unnecessary procedures. His bed side manner was great!

Dr. Summers was terrible. He spent 24 hours with me while I was in labor. He has awful bedside manner and ultimately made several decisions that led my newborn to be in the NICU for 3 days when he was born. He is rude and condescending. I would never trust him to be around myself or my child again. Avoid him at all costs!

Absolutely the worst obgyn I've personally been to. The scheduling is awful, trying to get an appt is next to impossible. The nurses and administration don't seem to remember any of my information or arent writing it down. So I'm constantly re telling things I've already said. The wait time is unacceptable, and when I finally get into the room I end up waiting an additional 30 min at least! The doctors are nice but that doesn't make up for the total lack of caring on Banner Health's part. Get it together or don't take on more patients than you can handle. I felt uncomfortable, belittled, & rushed. My experience with previous late miscarriage & anxiety was brushed aside, & his bedside manner during an internal exam was atrocious. I spent an hour waiting for him to show up at the exam room & left the building in tears.
