I've beeing seeing Dr Heasley for about 2 years now and in that time she has shown me genuine care for my wellbeing, she always listens to my needs and concerns, and I know I can truly trust her. My favorite doctor ever.

She insulted me and my daughter and refused to give us any records of the meeting. I found the meeting to be more mentally damaging then anything. She needs to lose her license.

This is the rudest old lady “DOCTOR” I’ve ever ran across. She’s very very rude and acts very strangely.

On a call earlier today the receptionist insulted me. Twice. Caught me off guard really. I wish I had her name she needs a new job. I'm surprised she has one at all honestly. She makes Dr.Heasley's office look unprofessional and should be embarrassed to have her representing it.

She's the only one who diagnosed me correctly after 25 plus years of suffering. She has helped out so many people and children. She is to the point and direct Nothing wrong with that.

The most caring and thougtfull professional in the field. Very sweet and shows a true passion for helping all people of all ages. ❤️

Patient beware. Within the first 30 minutes of seeing this doctor, she wrote me and my partner prescriptions for amphetamines. She handed out high doses in large quantities without reason or explanation. I went there for anxiety, and if you’ve ever experienced anxiety/have taken amphetamines, you know the two are a match made in hell. I continued to see this doctor for a year as I did not have insurance and she was most affordable for out of pocket cost (about $60 per session). On more than one occasion she accused me and my partner of things such as lying, being high, and exaggerating. *i keep referring to my partner because a few months back, she started doing our sessions together instead of two separate appointments* but, I digress. I went to this doctor looking for real help and guidance with my mental health but only got more confusion along the way. I was told my anxiety was invalid, when I explained my symptoms I was shrugged off. My partner and I were both receiving the same anxiety medication from her, yet, she refused to give me the proper dose, and gave my partner a dose double the strength of mine (my partner was not seeing her for anxiety yet she was still handing her a higher dose of the only medication I found useful!) Nearly every session with Dr. Heasley included her telling stories about other patients, poking fun at their symptoms and conditions, and the word “crazy” was thrown around more than once. She did not, however, include any personal info about her patients. The day after my last phone session, I received a letter in the mail saying they were terminating me for non-compliance with treatment. I called to ask about this letter because 1. I was not receiving any treatment 2. Non-compliance, how? 3. This was out of left field. I was always kind and complied with the new mystery medications she seemed to put me on monthly. Needless to say, I never got a call back. She dropped me, someone suffering with extreme anxiety and ptsd, in the midst of a pandemic, with no insurance. This is not to put her practice in a bad light, this is to let others seeking help for their mental health know that this probably isn’t the doctor for you. I regret seeing Dr. Heasley at all. She did not help me, made me question my mental health, made me feel like I was making everything up, took my money and ran. 0 out of 10, do not recommend. Patient beware. Janet Heasley services deserve a zero in my eyes. I was on the edge of hurting myself and her staff didn't inform the doctor the first time. Than after that I called immediate after I remembered I didn't have an appointment and they gave me an appointment 7 days after a month so I was going to need 7 days more of medication. As It was coming closer I called and they said my appointment is when I get medications and THEY WILL NOT WRITE MY MEDICATION EVEN FOR 7 PILLS TO GET ME TO MY APPOINTMENT DAY. This complete not exceptable to withhold someones medication because, they can have a spike in whatever condition they have and may end up in the hospital. I would advise you to think about your mental health before you get treated like I did. By the way the phones are answered in another building than were doctor heasley is located. I started seeing this doctor because I did not have insurance and she was the most affordable option. Many times I was invalidated. Many times she made me feel like there was nothing that could be done. She talks poorly about her other patients, calling them crazy and told me I should be grateful I don’t have their symptoms. Blames my anxiety on a possible heart condition (I don’t have any heart problems, I see my primary on a regular basis). Every session, I was handed a prescription for amphetamines and sent on my way. I was seeing her for extreme anxiety so this makes no sense. I am not sure how this person is still practicing. I did not benefit from her whatsoever. Love Dr. Heasley. She takes her time to get to know each patient individually. I have been seeing Janet for over 6 years now and she is everything She should be plus!

I just want to say I stand by my original review. If you actually want help, Dr. Heasley will help you. Just as with other doctors, YOU are responsible for calling and scheduling your appointment. I've never heard of a doctor calling you to kindly remind you that your meds are running out. She is also an addiction specialist, so please do not "pick" her as the psych that you believe will prescribe you xanax bc you are wanting a steady, reliable, legal source. Also, she is a psychiatrist, not a psychologist/therapist, if you want counseling, see a "counselor", if you want or need CBT / talk therapy, then see someone who provides that service. Shes is a horrible doctor! She is very rude and unprofessional. Dr. Janet Heasley does not make the patient feel comfortable(because when you go for counseling she talks politics and other inappropriate topics). I would recommend you steer clear from this dr!

Had a sit down with her for total of 35 minutes. She instantly diagnosed me and wrote a Rx. I asked if there were other options. She said no, I asked if this medication would be long term, she answered I don't know. ( I have anxiety ) took first dose of meds and called her office with an allergic reaction to it. She nor any staff called back like explained to me and she never contacted me further when the time would have been up for refills. Horrible care. The finest specimen in the medical field thou shall ever encounter. In all seriousness, if you are able to hold down your responsibilities as a patient such as scheduling your appointment and being accountable, then she hold down hers. I went through many doctors and a few mental health specislists before finding Dr. Heasley, and 6 years later I only have the best things to say about her. She was able to correctly diagnose me with an open heart and mind. I honestly don't know where I would be without her. I'm thankful for her everyday. This lady needs medication, she is very rude and unprofessional. Slams doors in clients faces for asking questions. This lady is unstable. BEWARE

The experience i had with this doctor was horrible. She never talked to me about anything. She just took me in her office showed me my drops and wrote out scripts. She would be gone for a week. So when i was suppose to see her and i couldnt get in on time i would run out of my medicine. She has no back up doctor if she is gone so you are pretty much just screwed. Dr. Heasley is bar far the best! She takes her time & is very caring and understanding!!!

Was seen for an evaluation and in under an hour diagnosed with OCD, PTSD and ADD. The later was based on a piece of paper with a dozen or so questions. I was immediately prescribed 3 highly addictive medications, which seemed questionable when her main field of expertise is treating addiction. Upon further research of the medications I found they were not to be taken by anyone with a heart condition such as myself. I called her office and it took over a week to get a call back. I did not return.

Horrible doctor

Was taking a family member here. Out of nowhere she started refusing to return phone calls and book appointments to refill prescription medications. No notice. Thanks for letting us know. Now we run out of meds before we can get in to see a new doctor somewhere else. 3 weeks she avoided returning phone calls. So unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone who may be in crisis. Edit: She has since called me a year later to ask me why I stoped bringing in the person. You have got To be kidding me right!?!?! Was taking a family member here. Awesome Dr. After 16 years of misdiagnosis she finally got it right. She's great.

Dr. Janet is a great doctor! If you need someone who cares and will listen to you with no judgement she is the doctor to see!

Dr. Heasley saved my life!! Always punctual appts are fast and with Mike around the corner @ Oak pharmacy. What a great team they are

Amazing Doctor super helpful and caring. The office she has taking her phone calls leaves something to be desired. Hard to get them to answer or call you back. But the Doctor is work the trouble.

Janet is compassionate and insightful. And the "holy grail" of therapy these days. A Psychiatrist who still does talk therapy. She has been a wonderful help in a very difficult situation. I highly recommend her.

I know that Dr. Heasley deals with a difficult population. Namely those addicted to drugs. She is a compassionate professional who does her best to help. Even if this is not valued by some it means a great deal to others. The fact she does talk therapy and medication is a godsend. Cannot recommend her enough.

Extremely unprofessional office. When needing to make an appointment I would have to call for a week sometimes too just to get someone to call me back leaving several messages. On two separate occasions I was given an appointment time showed up for my appointment on that time and was told I will not be seen because I came at the wrong time. Doctor will no longer see me due to appointment issues

Claimed to be in network with my insurance. Received a rather large bill after paying my copays and am expecting more bills for each time I saw her. I am glad I only saw her a couple of times due to her seeming to not know what she was doing.
