Great people: professional, friendly, highly competent.

Dr. Roberts is not only friendly, he takes the time to listen and you don’t feel rushed. I had a partial knee replacement by him, and I would highly recommend him!

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Doctor Roberts answered all of my questions, is very personable and made me feel at ease. I will definitely go back for any future needs.

This was my first encounter with Dr. Roberts to explore surgery. He gave me a lot of information, proposed several options, and explained the outcomes of each of those options in detail. I didn’t feel rushed and was given the opportunity to ask questions at several intervals. My experience was exactly what I would hope for when embarking on such a decision. Thank you!

Everything they say about Dr. Roberts is true and then some. This remarkable surgeon has protocols for his patients that are far ahead of any others in the area. He shows that he cares in many ways and I can't rave about him enough. He replaced my left knee. I waited 3 months for an appointment with him. My daughter is getting married on New Year's Eve. I dreaded this, you see, because I had my right knee replaced elsewhere. It was an awful experience that literally left me with nightmares and PTSD. This experience was beyond my best expectations. I had day surgery at the Malta surgical suite. Everything is precisely organized to provide maximum positive outcomes. Everyone there is cheerful, positive and helpful. Dr Roberts is an excellent doctor that displays such knowledge and professionalism that gives you the confidence he will do his best for you. He replaced my right hip 2018, my left knee 2021, and my right knee 2022 and did an outstanding job for each one. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends! His staff (Meghan and Mandi) are very supportive and always ready to help.

Dr. Roberts was highly recommended as the best surgeon for total knee replacement. It has been 3 weeks since the operation, and I am nearly fully recovered. I can walk easily and painlessly. My knee flexibility is quite normal, and now it is merely a question of regular strengthening. I have to attribute this speedy recovery to the skill of Dr. Roberts.

My hip replacement done by Dr Roberts changed my quality of life for the better. I followed his instructions , was discharged by PT after 3 visits, and pretty much can do anything I want to . Having had both knees replaced, 5 months apart by Dr. Roberts, this outpatient facility was safe and easily accessible, as opposed to having had my procedures done at a hospital. The entire staff was personable and professional. I was in at 6am & out by 2:30pm. Awesome!

Dr. Roberts did my right hip June 30th This was my 1st surgery ever. I was so nervous I didn’t think I could go through with it . When I arrived Albany medical center the staff was so nice and polite it was amazing . Then I met my anesthesiologist And she was beyond amazing. I ended up having surgery 7:30 AM woke up with no pain at all . As the day went on I did have some discomfort around the incision .it felt more like I worked on my legs out in the gym and it was just very sore. I walked four hours after surgery without my walker or cane . I was so excited I booked my next hip surgery from my room . Dr. Roberts is a wonderful doctor, both professionally and personally. He replaced my hip prosthetic successfully when other doctors would not. He was honest when indicating he had a plan but it could change during surgery. He has great support staff that make patients comfortable.

From the first visit and diagnosis to my recent one-month checkup after my second hip replacement, Dr. Roberts and his team have provided extraordinary care and follow up. I researched before I chose Dr. Roberts and nobody came near when it came to enthusiastic recommendations. When I woke up after my first surgery, pain-free after a year of increasingly debilitating pain, I felt like my whole quality of life was miraculously transformed. Aftercare, including PT with Alyssa at Thomas Nicolla, ensured I would make the best use of the gift I was given. And I did. Dr. Robert's did a left total knee replacement last November and I am quite pleased with the results. It is great to be able to do things again without all the pain from the arthritis that had been so painful. I had a right total knee replacement this November. I am currently 3 weeks out from surgery and doing awesome. I have really good range of motion and strength already. Dr. Robert's is an excellent surgeon and I strongly recommend him if you need joint replacement surgery. His staff is very friendly and helpful also.

Dr. Roberts is very personable and trusting. He recently did a total hip replacement for me at the age of 45 due to bad genetics. (severe arthritis in my right hip) The process from start to finish was executed perfectly and I was walking without a cane or walker only a week after surgery! My recovery time has been so fast. I'm currently on week 3 of recovery and now driving and back to work with zero pain. His assistant/nurse Mandi is excellent also. I couldn't be happier with my outcome. I thank God everyday for sending Dr. Roberts and his team to me and giving my mobility and life back.

Went in solely for a cortisone shot in my knee. Was in and out in thirty minutes. Staff was nice, Dr. Schneider was awesome. Brief, to the point but very busy. Totally recommend this facility.

Fantastic Hip replacement. Six weeks after surgery I went on a seven mile hike. After returning, the only thing on my body that didn't hurt was the new hip.

Absolutely phenomenal. Going to exhaust all measures before a possible need transplant which could be in 5 years. Ended today with a shot of cortisone in the knee and the results was instantaneous . Will be going back in 6 months to assess again.

He was highly recommenced by former running buddies with hip or knee issues, and by many patients I met at the Bone & Joint Center. He is very patient with questions, all of which he answered with ease. I was able to drive confidently the next day after leaving the hospital, though he probably doesn't approve. I recently had my first total hip replacement (right hip, anterior approach) by Dr. Jared Roberts at Albany Medical Center on February 25, 2020. I am so impressed by his efficiency and skill, as well as the skill and compassion I experienced by the entire anesthesia and AMC surgical teams. The rapid recovery from this surgery far surpassed my previously optimistic expectations. I am looking forward to having my left hip done, though understand that due to Covid-19 resource demands on medical staff, AMC facility, and equipment, my next surgery is most likely postponed. The recovery and orthopedic units at AMC provided excellent aftercare and I was fortunate to be discharged within 24 hours of surgery. Thank you Dr. Roberts and team. You have changed my life by the skills that God has gifted you with. I have a new lease on life literally!!!! Can’t wait for left hip surgery! I truly cannot express my gratitude enough.

I called Dr. Roberts office three times to make an appointment and no one ever called me back. I finally called one of his satellite offices and was spoken to very rudely and she finally said she would get the message to one of his scheduler's (it was like she was doing me a favor) and again no one ever responded. Dr. Roberts is a miracle worker. After my hip replacement, life began again!

Medical professional without the verbiage. He was adept at conveying medical information at a level that I was able to comprehend. He also made me feel comfortable and confident of his abilities. Did not rush our session and never gave me impression of lack of concern but quite the opposite. I have chosen him for anterior hip replacement without reservation!! 4 years later ! I luv my new hip but now the other has to be done also. DILEMMA! Dr. R only operates at the teaching school of Albany Medical. Where I AWOKE during my surgery! The head of the department was NOT in attendance as promised!! Dr. R stated "put him back under". Myhead of floor nurse who was 22 years old and just graduated 1 year ago, along with another young person. They dropped me down the side of the bed twice due to lifting restrictions that they refused to follow. These same persons put an antibiotic on my incision bandage, because it was translucent and they believed it to be an open wound. This open incision was left for us to care for at home in Winter being treated via internet! Nurses would not climb over freshly plowed snow to bring supplies or tend to open incision!! Hospital and Doctor were done and paid for. Your on your OWN FROM THERE WHEN YOUR INSURANCE IS FINISHED! SO ARE YOU! No, I did not sue but had my next hip done elsewhere. I agree that Dr. Roberts is a rock star with anterior hip replacement. I had seen a highly recommended but arrogant surgeon in his practice who completely turned me off. On the advice of a fellow geocacher, I made an appointment with Dr. Roberts, a highly knowledgeable and open doctor. I was out hiking on rolling hills 3 weeks after surgery at the age of 69! He has replaced both hips and will do my knee when PT no longer keeps it under control. He is amazing!

Dr. Roberts is the “rock star” of the anterior approach to total hip replacement surgery! I had my right hip done in June of 2016 and am having my left hip done March 11th. The whole experience was positive and the recovery was minimal. Dr. Roberts is thorough in explaining the procedure, the recovery and follow up and his team - Mandy and P.A. Megan are always compassionate and patient with questions and concerns. I’ve recommended Dr. Roberts again and again to all of my friends and colleagues!

Dr Roberts and his team did a great job on my surgery. I am surprised how quickly I was able to get back doing things that I like to do. After 3 weeks I am able to drive and fly. No running or jogging. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of orthopedic surgery. Don’t live with the pain anymore.

Dr. Roberts replaced my knee three weeks ago and I am shocked at how well I am doing, so quickly. Even the folks at PT are amazed at how quickly I am recovering. I need to replace the other knee next and I have no reservations!

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Roberts. On September 17,2018 I had a total Right hip replacement. I had been in significant pain for over a year. When I saw him for my preoperative appointment, he was very kind and explained everything in detail. I am 3 weeks postoperative and am going to PT 3 days a week. I am amazed at how much better I feel and am confident that I will be pain free from now on.

I am the 3rd member of my family to have a hip replacement. Dr Roberts performed all the surgeries, we highly recommend him!

Best hip surgeon in the Northeast! He does the hip surgery the Anterior approach. Much easier on patient and faster recovery. I would recommend him to everyone.

Needed total hip replacement, anterior approach. Surgery on Monday, discharged Tuesday. Walked out of hospital, no pain, three sessions w/PT/OT discharged, back to work four weeks. Excellent experience. Dr. Roberts is exceptional.
