Dr. Jason Tai Pang Lam

Dr. Lam is a great primary care physician and has been our family doctor for years. He is very intelligent, a terrific listener (with a nice sense of humor), and shows genuine concern for our health. He is also extremely thorough and makes sure the necessary diagnostic tests and preventive measures are completed. He is aware of the latest medical practices and prescriptions and offers honest recommendations for treatment options. The office staff is very accommodating and can often get us an appointment on the same day or next day (depending on the office hours between his two locations -- Honolulu and Wahiawa). The office is simple, but very clean and safe. He conducts telehealth visits during the covid situation to keep things healthy. We highly recommend Dr Lam for you and your family.

Do not use this dr or office unless you find the following to be good qualities in a dr/dr office: -no returned calls -getting hung up on by front desk staff -waiting for weeks for med refills -dr saying that your pharmacy and insurance are liars -dr tells you "well too bad, that is medical insurance" -having to call repeatedly to find out vital info a dr should have told you about weeks ago -dr not listening, and telling you that he will only let you speak for 1minute because he feels what he has to say is more important -complete disregard for being without important meds due to their errors

Unprofessional, unorganized, terrible customer service, calls insurance and pharmacy "liars". Zero care for patients, zero accountability. Zero communication or respect for clients, or their health and wellbeing. Places blame on others. I sense he is also sexist, in the way he spoke to me.
