Dr. Medina is wonderful and his staff was too!!!

I went to Dr. Medina for 6-7 years. He is a Great Dr. I stopped going to him because we had different views on THC.

Dr Medina is the best Dr. He truely listens to your concerns and makes you feel like you're the only patient he has.

i went to a wellness visit since my insurance covers it. I discussed some concerns that i was having. The bill came up and turns out they charge it as a regular visit, I tried to dispute it and told the rep i specifically asked for a wellness visit he told me that if i discuss any time of medical condition with the doctor or they renew a prescribe then its not a wellness visit anymore !!!!! i asked my co workers and they said that they never have issues like that with their doctors when they go do their wellness visit. i went to a wellness visit since my insurance covers it. Went to him with awefull allergies he got me set up with some great meds that kicked it and I’m back to 100% Very friendly and helpful

Great Physician, takes the time to listen, not trying to get quick turn time. He cares for your health, not how many patients he can get to.

We love our Doctor! Dr. Medina is caring and compassionate, intellegent and helpful. I trust him with my health and my family’s health. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Medina's for over 7 years. He remembers my health needs, he is the primary doctor for my family and often asks about other members of my family. The nurses in his office are professional and friendly. I am grateful to have found his office.

On 1/15/18 I took my Mom to see Dr. Medina. Her appointment was for 10:30 and they came to the waiting room and got her about 10:40 am. About 10 minutes later Dr. Medina came and got me saying that my mom was having a hard time remembering anything. When I got in the room she was crying inconsolably and saying she couldn’t remember any of her meds or any of the questions he was asking her. We had went for nausea and tightness/pain in esophagus. He gave us a referral for an endoscopy, told us she was depressed and sent us on our way. I knew something was wrong and she needed to go to the ER. Turns out she had a stroke sitting in the room waiting for him and he knew nothing about it and didn’t address it at all. She was then in the hospital for three days after this. Dear rude associate who answered the phone - "What makes you think that your crappy attitude makes me want to be a patient at your facility?" The associate was very rude when I was inquiring about being a new patient and didn't even seem to care that I was interested in coming to visit the doctor. If she treats someone like that over the phone, I don't even want to imagine how she treats people in person. Sorry Dr. Medina, after all the research I really was impressed by you but your associate ruined it for me. Dr Marina takes time to answer all my questions and never seems like he is in a hurry! I've never had to wait very long either. Great experience, great staff, great doc!

We love Dr. Medina! My 80 year old mom went to several doctors before we found Dr. Medina, and once we did, she would not go to anyone else. He and his staff are very personable, and Dr. Medina spent as much time as necessary listening to our concerns, reading between the lines when mom wasn't as forthcoming as she needed to be, examining mom, and following up when I had questions. He personally responded to my emails as did his staff. They worked with me as mom's caregiver. He always referred us to really good doctors. We would not use anyone else, and when I am able to begin taking care of me, I plan to see Dr. Medina as my own primary care physician. He and his staff are #1 as far as I am concerned, and I would highly recommend Dr. Medina as your doctor! We love Dr. Medina! I've been seeing Dr. Medina for about 6 years & I couldn't be happier with the level of care I've received. He's very professional and takes time to listen to my concerns & input regarding my treatment plan, & answers any questions I have. I don't have insurance, but my appointments are very affordable & Dr. Medina helps to keep my costs down, either by giving me rx samples or simply discussing affordable treatment options with me...always goes the extra mile. :D And his assistant is wonderful!!

Zero stars was not an option. This guy sells pharmacueticals. If you are looking for a doctor or a real health care provider, look elsewhere.

I originally came in over a year ago looking for a new primary care physician and looking to treat my acne. I scheduled an appointment for a full new patient exam. Dr. Medina spent about two minutes in the room with me, barely touched the side of my face, gave me two prescriptions totaling over $400 and sent me on my way. Not to mention my blood pressure was extremely high, but that didn't seem of any concern, they just told me to check it on my own later. I've worked completely on my own now to turn my health around, loose weight and quit smoking. As it probably should be, but at the time I was looking for a little guidance and maybe some conversation about my health. I doubt you will get it from this guy, seems like his major concern is keeping the pharmacy reps happy and getting you out of his office. I've had some excellent doctors but Dr. Medina doesn't seem like he really cares for his patients and their overall health. Looking for a new doctor now, definitely wouldn't go back to him. I have been a patient of Dr. Medina for over 6 years and found him to be a competent and caring physician. He is never in a rush with my examination which is thorough and detailed. He explains alternative treatments and does not overprescribe. He listens to my concerns and treats them accordingly. I would recommend Dr. Medina and his practice without reservation. I am posting under my husband 's account because I don't have an account but I want people to know what a wonderful doctor our doctor is. Dr. Medina has been our physician for over 6+ years and I have always felt we have had excellent care. He always takes time to listen to all our concerns and symptoms and has made the appropriate diagnosis to take care of our problems. When it was evident he could not help us he was quick to give us the names of specialists who could. Getting refills has always been an easy process and his staff are very helpful. Beware! Dr. Medina insists to see you every time you need to refill your prescription. I am a healthy individual taking Levothyroxin 50 mcg. for thyroid and Lipitor 10mg. for Cholesterol since 2005. I saw Dr. Medina in September 2015. He did lab test and wrote me prescription. When I called to refill in February 2016, his nurse told me I have to come in for office visit. I said, I never had anyone call me in for prescription refill. So, doctor called my pharmacy for a refill of one month. Same problem this month. however this time his nurse said, Doctor can not refill medicine without seeing me since I have chronic illness. I wish my previous doctor would take my new insurance. He always prescribed lab test once a year and continued my medication. I believe Dr.Medina's practice is quantity driven instead of quality of care. Beware!
