Dr. Jason Phillips

He is very rude. He didn't listen to me at all. Thankfully the doctor who saw me in the ER referred me to someone who did.

Definitely very thorough!

When I went in for my Surgery the office was informed there was no deduction as my insurance had changed their policies and charges. The office continued to try and tell me I owed them a $500 deduction. They continued to call me continuously and were told over and over the same thing. The surgical office DID NOT follow up with my stitches after the visit. I contacted them about my infection never heard back. They never gave me a follow up to remove my stitches. After the infection continued and my hand was very swollen I had to make the choice to remove the stitches myself which was very painful but I am glad I did because I was then able to clean the area and remove the infection. The whole staff is amazing from the lady's at the front x Ray and Dr Tiedeken is the best. First time a Dr has given me hope in a long time

I highly recommend this surgical group for all your orthopedic needs. Saw Dr Phillips for hip issue that three other doctors from Geisinger kept telling me I had a groin strain. Dr. Phillips knew immediately what the issue was after examining me. Torn labrum and hip impingement. Further imaging showed that also. He did scope on my hip. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and genuinely cares about his patients. If it’s something he can’t do he knows other professionals who can. Best decision I ever made was going here. Had my left rotator cuff repaired over 5 years ago, with a different surgeon, and went though a long recovery road. Chose Dr Phillips for my left rotator based on my wife’s recommendation- she’s an OR RN and has worked with Jason for many years. I’m only 2 weeks out, but feel great. People in the area frequently chose to seek surgeons outside the area, but I have no doubt that Dr Phillips is one of the best ortho surgeons anyway. Supposedly knowledgeable about EDS, Dr. Phillips was not. He was sure I didn't have a torn labrum. I finally got my family doctor to order an MRI. I had two tears, a cyst and a bone spur in the left hip. One tear in the right.

Top notch Dr! Highly recommended. Always goes out of his way to be helpful and take care of my family and our various sports injuries.

I needed to get a mri athrogram (not sure on spelling) that i had myself completely psyched out over my anxiety was through the roof beings i had one done before at a previous facility and was traumatized to say the least.... The nurse assisting Dr. Phillips assured me that wasn't going to be the case today and sure enough she was absolutely correct not only was i treated like a human being but it was over and done with within 10 minutes of him walking into the room. I did not have any pain what so ever.... I have gone to integrated for all my ortho needs Dr Teideken ( not sure the spelling) was very quick and precise with the diagnosis on my left and both times. I used Dr Philips for the first time due too a completely torn bicept tendon. He makes you feel like you've known each other for years and does an excellent job speaking in plain terms to help you understand what the injury is and the procedure that needs to be performed. His staff including the PA are all excellent, friendly, and helpful. The surgery was total success and I feel like nothing ever happened

Doc Schank did two surgeries on my foot and now I have to have another surgery to fix what he did. Of course by a different doc.

I would give a zero rating if included! I fell down steps and broke one wrist (so I thought) tried to explain to er doctor and Phillip's and Bradford office associates my right wrist hurt almost as much as left one. Both told me it's only a bad sprain. I was told I had to have surgery to put "hardware" in. I asked if I could have it done at lvhn east because I am enrolled in an assistance program where I dont have to pay copays or balances. I was told it had to be done at the surgery center down by aldi's. I knew I had to have surgery but that center told me I'd have to have$600.00 up front. Then it went from $600.00 to a payment plan to $300.00 up front. VERY RUDE re eptionists! I later found out Phillip's and Bradford have part ownership in that surgery center. To make a long story short, I traveled to lvhn Allentown with my xrays, doctor there said xrays were of very poor quality, took new xrays and low and behold my right one was broke too. Got a bill for $13.00, called the office and expresses the odassity they had to send me that bill. About a week later I received a letter in the mail from Phillip's and brayfords office stating that my view and their views of medical are totally different and suggest I find another doctor. Dr. Phillips seemed very friendly and helpful at first. Unfortunately my surgery wasn't a success and I had even more pain and additional symptoms in the months following. He was very dismissive and unwilling to follow up and help me find a solution. He insisted that I needed to accept my "condition" and nothing else was going on. I found another doctor who discovered I have Lyme disease and probably did for a few years. Sadly I was misdiagoned, and I cannot recommend this office. If you are an active person with unexplained knee pain that came on rather quickly, please get checked for Lyme disease, which causes knee joints to deteriorate. All of the Drs are very professional and also their staff. If anyone have anything wrong about them it could be themselves. I had surgery last week and everything went smoothly because of the professional way everything were done. 4 stars for them

I broke my ankle during roller derby practice and had the pleasure of Dr. Phillips fixing it for me. He did an amazing job! Very professional and his team was fantastic. Dr. Schanck is very unprofessional. Lies to your face like it is nothing. I wouldn’t let him see my dog! Very two-faced and unprofessional!

Dr. Phillips and his team are wonderful. I wasn't an easy case and still am only 4 months out of 2nd hip surgery but I feel great!! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend

Repaired my meniscus and me knee feels great.....quick procedure but pre-op meeting was informative and helpful.....I would recommend to others for his skills and abilities

Poor bedside manner. Did not take enough time evaluating my hip injury. Thankfully I replaced him with a competent Doctor.

Wouldn't recommend for anyone with a back injury. Save yourself the money and just go out of county because that's all dr. shah is going to do. Waste of time and money.
