We moved to Peacham Pond permanently in 2018. It has taken me three years to find a doctor I can trust or is competent here in Vermont. I was spoiled living in San Diego CA. So, I am thanking the Lord for steering me to this doctor and the Danville Health Clinic. There are some very special people employed at DHC.

Dr. Dege is an excellent physician. Having moved here after living in San Diego, it has been real difficult to find a good doctor not to mention to find a decent hospital. They just are not available. My experience at CVH was the worst experience in my life time. Dr. Dege is not only brilliant, but has common sense. He gives the patient time to talk and explain why they are there and all their symptoms so the correct treatment can be administered. He listened to me and didn't rush me out of the examining room so he could take the next patient. He shows concern and compassion. Having worked in the medical field as both a consultant and office manager in several offices, I am very much aware of problems in the medical field. My husband served 43 years active duty in the USN so I know a bit about medicine and doctors moving about finding good doctors. As far as I am concerned where we live in Vermont and at my age I fear ever having to go to any of the hospitals near me that includes CVM, Gifford, or the Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury. I would be more than willing to share my experiences. Don't allow distance to interfere with getting the best treatment you deserve. Sincerely, Janice D. White
