Dr Hypes has been my dentist for years. I moved away from home a while ago and honestly should have never left his care. After visiting a dentist in my new state I had one of the worst experiences of my life. I saw Dr Jay Hypes this morning it was my first Visit. I had a very bad tooth that was broken. When he pulled the tooth it did break. He had to drill and get the roots out. I had many visits and Several teeth pulled. I have had to have extra meds to numb and spent agonizing time getting the feeling back. Not so today, he didn't add more didn't have me wait forever to get numb, and the pain was minimal been four hours and I feel fine. Hats off to you and your kind staff. PATIENT BEWARE!!! I had a wisdom tooth removed on Thursday and today Monday I am still in severe pain from it. I went back to Dr. Hypes after suffering all weekend from severe pain in my jaw and the left side of my mouth up to my ear. I have followed all instructions and ask for pain medication but he DOES NOT write pain medication... even after knowing I have a dry socket and infection which I believe is from a root tip left in my mouth still no pain meds.. He is a very nice dentist but this I find ridiculous.. due to a dry socket is very painful... ???????? PATIENT BEWARE!!! Dr. Hypes was recommended to me by a close friend (retired hygienist) when my dental partial broke in half. At office,Susie got me in quickly to see what could be done.
