I loved Dr. Smith and his staff. He is very careful in his thoughts about fixing your broken parts! Very smart guy. His therapy staff, Jane and Wendy are very kind, patient, and thorough. Can't say enough about his whole practice....right down to the beautiful fish tank in his office.

The absolute Best! Most surgeons immediately opt for surgery, he was able to resolve my issue in the office. Highly recommend!

I had a 1000 lb. Steel plate drop on my right fingers, crushing three of them. Dr. Smith did surgery the next day and more than likely saved those fingers. He kept me informed and answered all of my questions throughout my rehabilitation. One year later I was back to near normal. He also performed rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders with excellent results.

They are working with my husband when no one else would. They are all awesome!

Worst Hand Dr Ever

Humerus fracture almost to the head. From previous experience 15 years prior in repair of a fracture (destroyed radial head of elbow), I knew Dr. Smith could repair this...and he did. He is compassionate, explains what is going on, and has no problems answering and explaining the medical procedures. He visited in hospital at 4:30 a.m. on a Saturday before getting on with his personal life, making ME a priority to his day! There is no better upper extremity orthopedic doctor in our area. He is the BEST! AND he has cared for my husband's elbow and shoulder, too, through the last 16 years. Be an advocate to your condition, and ask Dr. Smith questions to assist the healing of your surgery. He is a fantastic educator as well!! Karen and Aaron Nelson, Decatur, Il. March 25, 2021

I had an appt for 9:15 and by 10:25 I still had not been seen by the doctor so I decided to leave. I walked past several staff members including the doctor and nobody seemed concerned I was leaving.

When a fractured radius bone turned into a tendon detachment Dr Smith and his staff fixed me right up. This wonderful doctor did a tendon transfer and I now have use of my thumb! THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING! And thanks to the therapy department for pushing me to do my best! I am playing piano just as I used to.. Even better! I was charged $160 for him to spend 5 minutes telling me my finger doesn't work, deal with it (verbatim). The whole thing is handled in a way that screams "give me money". All checks made payable to Jeffery M Smith, a note in the contract that says leave your information, we serve you, not your insurance company (it actually says that). They took 20 minutes of my time away from work, just for me to leave feeling exactly the same as how I went in. Dr Smith has treated my husbands painful shoulder with injections that have helped tremendously. He didn''t want to jump right into surgery until less invasive approaches were tried. His staff is very friendly and helpful Very nice office.

Had Dupuytrens disease surgery with Dr. Smith and had fabulous results. He fixed my hand. This Doctor is absolutely amazing. He really knows what he is doing. Would highly recommend him
