Dr. Jeffrey Paul Allerton

As a new patient I was kept waiting for over two hours. I could clearly see Dr. Allerton roaming the hallways as though he was lost. When I finally got in a patient room, Allerton walked and stated, "so you're here for a second opinion?" I had been referred to Allerton by my Primary Doctor after my pathology report came back as malignant. When I stated this was my first time seeing an oncologist, he then seemed to be confused. I then had to sit there while he spent over 15 minutes reviewing my patient file, reports, etc. I was then told he would have to review my file yet again before he made a decision as to what type of treatment I needed. As I left, his receptionist started to schedule me for a follow-up appointment for six weeks later. When I told the woman she was mistaken, she then asked Allerton about the appointment date. Allerton then tells his receptionist that six weeks was fine. When I got to my car, I started to cry while calling my Primary Doctor for a new referral.

Dr.Allerton saved my husband's life. He is a very kind and loving human being. He was there to answer every question we had and explained everything that was going on with my husband and his treatments. He even took time out of his day to talk to me when I called with concerns. Dr. Jeffrey Allerton is a superb physician that has a great bedside manner, and is very compassionate in assembling the support team to combat cancer. He was my mom's primary oncology doctor about 10 years ago.

I am very impressed with Dr. Allerton and his staff. Dr. Allerton spent well over an hour with me on my first visit explaining my diagnosis and treatment plan. He explains things in words and terms that I can understand.

Dr. Allerton is harsh and unkind in his words. I wouldn't take a loved one to see him.

Dr Allerton is very thorough and knowledgeable.

Dr. Allerton is a very caring and thorough physician. He has been my mother's oncologist for two+ years. What impresses me most about him is that he always addresses our questions and concerns and is honest and clear in his communications. Dr. Allerton always takes time to explain things to me about my course of treatment. His nurse has always called me right back whenever I've had a problem. I receive infusions at the center attached to his office. The nurses are efficient, kind and good at what they do.
