I have had Dr Cote for a number of years - all was well until I needed attention! The staff does not send referrals; ALWAYS puts you on hold and makes you feel you are disrupting their day. I never received a call from the doctor (or the office) following a very serious illness that I was hospitalized for. In fact, I was told that they have other patients too; they can only do referrals on Wednesdays - so I had to suck up the pain for five days!! They can rest easy now because it will soon be a few less!

The first time I met him, he accused me of liking him for joking with him. He orders you prescriptions without telling you what he’s ordering. If you as him what he’s ordering, he says Why?It’s like he’s hiding something. He doesn’t like ordering the recommended amount of antibiotics. I had to ask him for two extra days. He ordered it, and said if I didn’t trust his medical judgment, I should find another pcp. He’s extremely uptight, rude, and not as special as he thinks he is.

Dr. Cote has been my primary now for 12 years. He is easy to talk with, he listens, and explains things so I can understand them. I feel very comfortable in his care.

I would not recommend this doctor. I asked for records to be sent to a specialist and the receptionist handed me my records and told me I could take them. When doing lab work they missed a standard blood test and I had to go back. Gave me a regular prescription for 6 months and required me to go back to get it refilled instead of the standard yearly prescription. 7:50 AM appt and was behind...how?

He is knowledgeable, professional and takes the time to answer all of your questions. The office staff is always pleasant and ready to help.
