Dr. Jeffrey A. Medlock

You’ll be fine here if you’re an old white person. Please don’t take your kids here. Dr. Medlock is really out of touch. I think he means well, but is just really misguided. He told us that trans people don’t exist, by coming in with a clown nose trying to make my 14 year old laugh…and then saying that if he painted a goat and glued a horn to its head, it still wouldn’t be a unicorn, not once but THREE times we were told that nonsense when we were really there just to get my kids meds refilled :/

DR.Medlock is one of the most caring Dr.s I know .You don't feel like just a number with him.

By far the most impressive doctor I've ever had, Dr. Medlock is everything one should be looking for in a health care provider. He's attentive, intelligent, and passionate about providing the best care he can for his patients. Wouldn't see me because I use medically proscribed marijuana. Wasted a week of my time for the appointment, and it took the nurse an hour to even see me. Don't waste you're time they are very unprofessional.

Dr. Medlock is a "One of a Kind" provider. My family and I have seen him for many years. He is a very informative provider and is eager to really listen to your issue. He does everything in his power to make sure you always get the best care. He has always been there for me when I needed him. I had to drive from Hot Springs to visit him one day without an appointment. He took the time to listen and understand what I was needing. Now his nurse on the other hand, now I know she's doing her job ( I work in a medical office as well). She is the most rudest and judgemental "nurse" I've come across in a long time. Now mind you, again she is only doing her job, but listen up lady--if you don't like it, then do something else! However, Dr. Medlock is the best doctor I have been to in a very long time. I've always felt I was with family when at my appointments it feels more like a reunion catching up because Dr Medlock really listens to his patients. Not only does Dr Medlock make me feel this way, but the women who work there are all so sweet. I've never felt out of place or that I couldn't tell them something.

I have seen dr. medlock for 20 years, every 3 months for twenty years, he is a hard working dr. Dedicated to doing a good job, he has seen me through 4 back surgeries, a stroke and liver disease +, and up to now done a great job,

I love Dr. Medlock he cares for the people he treats and tries to do everything in his power to help.

This Dr. is brilliant. He reminds me of Einstein in that because his mind goes so fast it can seem he is not focused. He has helped me soooo much and cares.

I've seen Dr Medlock for over 10 years. Always there for me. Listens tentively. Really cares about his patients. If you need hospital care you can count on him to be thorough and will provide you with the best physicians at his disposal. He is a great man and a great physician.

Mostly talks about himself. Does not listen or seem to care about patients well being or mental health. I have a lot of medical issues and instead of helping, he is taking my meds one by one. He does not care that I am in daily pain or that muscles lock up. He also runs quite late. Find a different doctor

For the first time in my life, I felt like I had a Doctor that truly cared about me and my health. He took the time to listen to me and he found a way to relate to me. He was willing and ready to build a relationship and not just prescribe and leave. He went above and beyond of what is expected and/required to not only treat me but to educate me. I thought I would never say this, but, I' M kinda looking forward to my next doctor visit.

Several times I had to wait more than an hour to see him and one time it took 2.5 hours. Not very knowledgeable about mental illness. Nice guy and he spends a lot of time with you, but not very smart medically and will not return urgent calls. Go find someone else!

Staff is unprofessional and does not follow up nor do they follow orders of the physician. Utter incompetence on the staff's part. Does not matter how good the doctor is, he also needs a staff that he can count on and will support him and help him in his care of his patients. I would not recommend this clinic. We have had too many occurrences of this behavior, so we would NOT recommend this clinic.

Dr. Medlock is the most caring and professional family physician. I love that he takes time to know you and what your troubles (medically) are. Awesome person, awesome Dr, and very knowledgeable compared to some others in the area. Among the best.
