Not happy at all. Claims my problems are all neauropathy and my brain. I lose my balance as my feet are not secure in my shoes. I could get diabetic insoles but he referred me to a place th does Not accept Medicare or insurance. The visit was worthless.

Dr. Poole and staff are wonderful! I was in and out and I feel a lot better after Dr. Poole fixed my toe.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Poole, Haley and the rest of the staff. Dr. Poole was efficient, personable, quite knowledgeable and made my foot’s healing process easier than expected. Definitely recommend.

Dr Poole and his staff made me feel so comfortable while removing an ingrown nail. They knew I was anxious and went out of their way to put me at ease. So glad I found Dr Poole.

The office is neat and clean and all the staff are friendly and courteous. Dr. Poole listens and is pro active on getting results for my foot pain issues. I am very pleased to be going there.

This was my first visit to a podiatrist and Dr. Poole and his staff made me feel very comfortable with their care and expertise regarding my issue.

Jess, the receptionist greeted me with a very cheerful attitude and a wonderful smile. I paid my copay before seeing the Doctor to eliminate post visit payment. Brittany was very concerned and asked questions about my ankle & heel pain to ascertain the cause. She then took x-rays of my left ankle. When Dr. Pool arrived in the exam room, the diagnosis was 90% complete. I was given a boot to stabilize the ankle as well as physical therapy appointments. It was also suggested I take certain medications. I was very satisfied with the incredible care and attention I received during my visit. My next appointment will be in three weeks! Can’t recommend Dr. Poole enough!! After being in excruciating pain for weeks to the point of not even being able to walk and having a local doctor tell me to just tough it out, I was able to get a same day appointment and drove over an hour to Dr. Poole’s office. Dr. Poole helped me after I fractured my ankle. He was always great at explaining my progress and options to treat. Lindsey, Savannah and Jessie were all so sweet and helpful with whatever I needed. I highly recommend Dr. Poole top anyone with foot or ankle issues.

Cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Poole and his staff. Beyond professional and friendly. Dr Poole and his trusted staff performed two foot surgeries (both feet for complicated bunions) and I am happy to report that I have fully recovered beautifully! I have had 2 cases of plantar fasciitis since June 2020; 1 in each foot. The 2nd one began in Dec. I got in to see Dr. Poole shortly before Xmas. He quickly assessed the severity of the case, did some xrays and administered a shot to begin to alleviate the inflammation. He recommended stretching exercises, ice baths, and topical ointment, and a support brace; all of which I incorporated for treatment. There was moderate relief, and I returned in 2 weeks for follow-up. Same treatment with somewhat better results, and 2 week return. He gave me a 3rd shot and said to continue the other relief measures. I went through the same approach with incremental improvement on my other foot earlier in the year. The week before my 4th visit my foot pretty much had no more pain, which lasted until I saw Dr. Poole. I told him I thought I was good. Throughout treatment for 6 weeks Dr. Poole was impressively professional, compassionate, and empathetic. I can only recommend University Foot and Ankle for any podiatry needs. Due to an auto accident years ago, I've been in and out of hospitals and medical facilities countless times.. which has given me a not desired yet unique perspective when dealing with healthcare professionals. So with confidence I can say that Dr Poole and his staff are top shelf, among the best of all the physicians and staff I've dealt with, largely due to the manner of care. From the moment I first walked in, there was a kind, caring atmosphere contributed to by everyone who works there, which is becoming more and more rare from any public establishment. In fact it was put to the test when I first started visiting.. being in a great deal of pain, my disposition caused me to be a frustrated, grouchy patient at times. They patiently continued to see me and because of that I hold them all in high regard.. thank you! Dr. Poole treated my situation as a true caring professional .. terms which rarely get used in the same sentence nowadays. He balanced his experience and knowledge of the situation I was in, with preserving my dignity letting me make the final decisions and although his recommendations for treatment were made clearly and with the seriousness that was needed, he still presented the recommendations in a way that were not forceful or manipulating.. because of that, I followed his treatment plan which definitely helped me to recover. Excellent Doctor and great staff. I had a surgery on my foot and the experience was not difficult or nearly as painful as expected. Dr. Poole answered all my questions and was thorough in options before he performed surgery. I would recommend him to anyone needing foot care.

My 8 year old son had an angry ingrown toenail that was very painful and home remedies was not working. The staff at Dr. Poole’s office were very polite and personable. My son had a lot of questions about the procedure and they entertained him until he was comfortable with them proceeding, great bedside manner. Dr. Poole spared no expense to reduce the pain. My son’s toe healed very quickly and it allowed him to return to what he loves to do, play football. As a parent, I was extremely satisfied that the staff, they all took time with us during the visit and we did not feel rushed or like we were just a number. Y’all keep doing what y’all do best! Everything went well until after surgery, then they won’t return calls when I was hurting bad and When I went for my Follow up appointment today, they weren’t even there. They were closed. Never got a text, call, or anything. Very bad customer service! I will never refer anyone to them.

Let me start off by saying I’m an RN. I chose Dr. Poole because of his great reviews. He’s nice, his staff is cordial, but my own experience wasn’t great. I saw him for an ingrown toenail in April of this year. He gave me 4 shots in my big toe to numb it and then proceeded to “remove” the ingrown portion. I returned for my follow up with my toe still purple and swollen and he said it was fine and to “keep doing what you’re doing” which was soaking my foot every night in Epsom’s salts. Flash forward to June and I was still no better. I worked up the courage to go dig in my toe myself and found a grain of rice size portion of nail still attached and ingrown. I had to cut this off myself. I would like to recommend him, but I can’t. I’m very disappointed. I need my other big toe done, but I won’t be returning to Dr. Poole. ???? It is a bad indication when a doctor's office takes your insurance information and still charges you $200 _before_ your visit with the doctor. Be warned, that is what you will experience at this office. I saw Dr Poole in February concerned that I was developing an ingrown toenail underneath a damaged toenail. With minimal inspection, he dismissed my concerns. Then he claimed that I had some object embedded in my foot and proceeded to cut it out. It wasn't bothering me. I was unaware of it. But this procedure "justified" the $200 charge at the desk, which my insurance did not cover. Cut to now, as I look for a new doctor to treat my severely ingrown toenail.

My high school son had a planters wart along w an injured ankle and what I love about Dr. Poole is he down to earth, cared to get to know my son, and showed compassion as he worked around his football schedule. Dr. Poole is an amazing doctor. He is attentive, friendly and really seems to care about the issue I'm having. I've seen amazing results in a short period of time for a condition I've had for 10 years or more. I highly recommend and wish there were more doctors around just like him!

Dr. Poole has been treating me for over a year and a half. I have been really pleased with his work and his staff. He takes time to listen and explain the complex problems I have with my feet. I recommend him highly!

One of the best doctors I've seen and he has fantastic staff too. Everyone was so nice. He was very kind and caring and took the time to explain everything. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel like he actually heard me. I would, without a doubt, recommend him to any and everyone. I wish there were more like him!

I had such a great experience with Dr. Poole! Extremely nice and a great podiatrist! I had four very painful ingrown toenails and he removed them all without any pain!! I would definitely recommend him and will be going back if I ever have any more problems!!
