Dr. Shepherd gave me better news than I expected and will replace my ball and socket in about 6 weeks.

The staff and Dr. Shepherd were very nice and helpful. Didn't much care for having to pay the extra money to have them file paperwork for my fmla leave then be told it would cost be additional money to file the paperwork for my short-term disability paperwork when really I could fill in most of it by myself just needed Doctor signature but it said to have Doctor fill it out. Otherwise I would strongly recommend this Doctor to family and friends.

Dr. Shepherd’s team communicates concisely what to expect before, during and after your surgery. I am grateful to his PA, Tom, for the professionalism and wisdom he offers at each appointment.

Dr. Shepherd just replaced my left knee. Right one was done by him in 2017. Highly professional. Great patient interaction. Would recommend him to all that would need knee/hip replacement.

Always professional. After being a repeat customer just because my knee will not cooperate. Dr Shepherd has not pushed me to another surgeon or hospital due to continuous knee issues I’ve been having. He’s stuck it out and actually is trying to fix the issue vs a band aid fix. For that alone he’s way ahead of surgeons that have been in the field twice as long..thank you again Dr. Shepherd, you and your staff are tops!

Dr.Jeffrey Shepherd did a left hip replacement on me today. I have complete confidence and trust in him. I would highly recommend him as you're doctor. He took the time to explain to me the procedure and what he was going to do. Afterwards he was hapy to answer any questions. He put my fears to rest and I knew then, he is the doctor for me. I was able to get in and speak with Dr. Sheperd about having a knee revision. He spoke with me about what the best procedure would be for and to better my lifestyle. Highly recommend him to anyone having orthopedic problems such as knee and hips. I believe he does work on other parts too.. Jamie H.

Thank you Dr. Shepard! I can't say enough thank yous on how good my knees felt the next day from the steroid shot. I know it's temporary but it gets me down the road that much longer. Totally impressed with your staff other than the two bronco fans working the desk.Ha! They inform me that you were a bronco fan also. So please do not use a dull knife on me when it comes to operating time because I am a die hard super bowl champion Chiefs fan right now! Ha! Thanks again! Look forward to seeing you again in May!

I saw Dr. Shepherd maybe 2 times ever, however I will sing his praises because the entire knee replacement experience was wonderful. PA Tom was very approachable and knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better surgical team!

I had a good visit with Dr.Shepherd. He ordered X-rays and found the cause of my pain! I received a shot as an outpatient.

Was very positive on what my out come would be after procedure. That I would be able to continue my career. Great bedside manner.

Dr. Shepherd was great about making sure I understood everything he said about the condition of my knee. He reassured me any decision was mine to make, and if I decided surgery was the option I chose, he would make sure I knew the surgeon would be very knowledgeable about my situation

I absolutely love Dr. Shepherd! I first met him almost 6 years ago, when he replaced my hip. It was an easy recovery and I've had no problem ever since. When I recently began having knee pain, Dr. Shepherd was the only Dr. I wanted to see. Thinking I might need knee replacement surgery, I was SO relieved when X-rays in his office indicated surgery was not necessary. His thorough assessment resulted in a treatment plan of daily exercises to strengthen the muscles that support my knee, as well as anti-inflammatory meds. I didn't have to wait too long, which is good because I often do. This was a 6 week ckup for my hip. I saw the PA, which he was fine, I really wanted to see Dr. Shepherd. Since this was the last time I would see anyone for maybe a year, I really think I should see the dr. who did the surgery.

Total knee replacement. Dr. and his PA are very nice and really care.

Visits were highly efficient. In and out not a lot of waiting around trying to figure out what to do. Surgery was in out, minimum problems very successful. We like the process because it was very cut and dried no BS, but that's just us. Any questions we had we're just a call away and were answered quickly. Hopefully we won't have to use his services again but if we have to he'll be the first one we'll call. Visits were highly efficient. I had a total knee replacement six weeks ago. I learned a few things in my post-op visit that I thought I should have been told before, but it would not have changed my decision to have the surgery. Dr. Shepard did a great job on the surgical part of my care. I will require another surgery on the other knee in the next couple of years and would go back to Dr. Shepard.

I saw Dr. Shepherd on 03/30/22 as a follow up to total knee replacements completed in January & April, 2021. Dr. Shepherd reviewed x-rays with me that showed my original badly deformed knees in contrast to the vast improvement made by the surgical replacements. After years of increasing discomfort that limited life choices and energy it has been wonderful to be able to walk and stand again without pain. Dr. Shepherd is always professional, friendly, and reassuring. I recommend him highly as a skilled and caring orthopedic specialist.

I was pleased with the time taken with me by both the nurse and doctor. It's nice not to feel that they are rushing from one patient to another.

Dr Shepherd and staff have replaced a knee and both hips for me! Being able to walk normally is great! Would recommend Dr Shepherd to anyone who needs replacement surgery!

Everyone is always very friendly and professional & timely. They fixed both of my knees without a glitch! I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd & his team to ANYONE!!

Professional first visit to Dr. Shepherd and I was very pleased with the explanation I received from the PA and from Dr. Jeffrey Shepherd. I have a clear understanding of what is wrong with my knee and the surgery I need was explained--surgery is scheduled. I appreciate the fact that he specializes in knee and hip surgery. Had a total knee replacement six weeks ago. Dr. Shepherd did a great job. The surgery is successful and I am progressing along ahead of average. Looking forward to going out dancing in another six weeks!

Matt's PA was very good about answering all my questions before Dr. S came in. Office staff seems very busy and professional; but not necessarily friendly. I felt a little rushed through my information packet about my surgery.

Dr. Shepherd is wonderful, he spends all the time you need and thoroughly answers all your questions. He has replaced both my knees and one of my hips, all three have healed perfectly.

Upon checking in, the receptionist told me to fill out a new patient form, as I was trying to explain to her that I’m not a new patient, she loudly interrupted me and asked for my height and weight…. !???? Why would she ask that if she “couldn’t find my file”?? The entire time we sat in the waiting room, she didn’t ask anyone else! As soon as I was able to see the dr, they told me there wasn’t a problem, that I was in the system. So I don’t know why the clerk behaved that way. And why would she blatantly ask for my height and weight!! Very unprofessional, shouldn’t be working with people. The drs assistant that performed my shot was amazing. Very professional and knew what he was doing. I’m very satisfied with the procedure. Excellent quality of services and efficiency by staff throughout the process. My appointment was a four year recheck of total knee replacement. My satisfaction with the new knee could not be overstated. No problems and restored activities since the replacement to date. Dr. Shepard and team are top notch! Thank you!

I like the way he takes time to listen what is going on. Than explains how a person should be able to correct the problem.

Yes, I am telling friends and family about Dr. Shepherd. He along with his entire staff have helped me through two total knee replacements. They were with me every step of the way. We started will office visits and X-rays to assess the severity of my knee problems. Then we tried a couple of rounds of cortisone shots but I didn’t feel it was an effective choice for me. I inquired about the knee they used. I found that the “Stryker” had been a highly effective solution with about a 25 to 30 year service life. That was the solution I was looking for so we scheduled dates to have both knees replaced about seven weeks apart. I was instructed about what I needed to do in the weeks prior to each surgery and what I needed to do to care for my new knees post-surgery. They always treated me with respect. They instructed me about wound care after each surgery which was a great comfort for me. They have always helped me with any questions I have had.

Dr. Shepherd has replaced both of my knees. Did an excellent job. Hardly any pain. Used Robotics with the second knee. Was a faster recovery. Great bedside manner. I would recommend him 100 percent.

Diagnosis was good. Prescribed a shot and it has relieved pain.

Dr. Shepherd and his staff are very thorough, professional and caring. My knee surgery went great and the follow up by the staff was excellent. You won’t find a better Surgeon and staff.
