I am a second time cancer survivor. Dr. Crozier is an excellent chemo therapy doctor. However the reason I rated a one star is because No one in her office could give me an estimate on what my cost was for a prolia shot. I made several attempts to find out what my cost was going to be, before I had the shot., no one could tell me, even on the day of the shot no one told me. I received the bill and it was a 6000.00 shot! My part was $1200. I was in shock!! Someone should have told me ahead of time. I would NOT have received the shot. I feel I should not have to pay the bill, because no one told me ahead of time. I have tried to talk with her office about this but no one has followed up with me. I am so disappointed with her office. I have always paid my bills on time and have excellent credit, however I am not going to pay this bill and I am letting everyone know to be aware of her office and make sure you know how much your part is going to be before you have a procedure done. No...would not recommend ....I am a deaf, cancer patient who recently saw this physician in consultation. I had an oral interpreter with me, who told me what Dr Crozier was saying. There was far too much information for me to remember so I asked Dr C in writing, to please send me a full narrative statement of my case/treatment/prognosis. All she did was send a DRAWING of cancer cells with a few words/phrases jotted throughout. I was *insulted*. Did she think I was too dumb to understand a full narrative statement?

I love Baptist Medical and have been with them for 20 years. I have dealt with breast cancer 2 Xs and have MGUS which is is a condition in which an abnormal protein in my blood which requires simply monitoring lab work every 6 months. I was assigned to Dr. Crozier when my former oncologist moved out of state. I have not been impressed. After multiple requests, to meet with Dr. Crozier instead of her PA or a clinician, my request was met with no response. Also, Dr. Crozier is a hematologist oncologist but for reasons unknown, she is "no longer able to follow (me)" regarding my MGUS, which must be followed by a hematologist. I received no explanation. For me to see 2 separate specialists costs me twice as much. It already costs me a fortune to see Dr. Crozier at the new MD Anderson Medical Center because it is considered a hospital so I have to pay over a $100 per visit instead of a normal $40 co-pay.
