Empathetic, Listens, offers various treatment modalities & is a fine physician. His schedule at Cooper is very limited & it is enormously difficult to get an appointment.

Dr. Friedman is a kind, compassionate, intelligent, and extremely helpful doctor who has provided pain management and much needed relief to me. I highly recommend him

I went to him about my back pain and brought my MRI results from a previous orthopedic doctor that said that I had a compression fracture and a bulging disc which I did from tumors that were growing on my spine from Breast Cancer I had in 2004. While Dr. Friedman wasn't the only doctor that didn't c the tumors on the MRI that I brought to my first office visit with him I do put much of the blame on him for refusing to approve me to get another MRI many months later when the pain started getting worse! He said it wouldn't show anything different. Well he was wrong because as we later found out it was Metastatic and was literally crushing my spine. If he had approved an MRI when I had asked him I might not have needed such extensive surgeries, 2 in total, a full spinal fusion and so much hardware and screws in me that it is hard to read my scans.In addition to that I am in constant chronic pain and barely have a life anymoreI wouldn't send my worst enemy to him. I was recommended to Dr. Jerrold Friedman for chronic pain that has dominated my life for over a decade. Dr. Friedman offered me an alternative treatment for my condition that went beyond using traditional Western medicine. Dr. Friedman has been treating me for awhile now and his knowledge of physical medicine, patience and compassion to bring relief to my life is like no other doctor I’ve been treated by. My life continues to improve drastically and for the better due to the care he provides.

as a patient of Dr Friedman i find him to be very skilled in his medical field of expertise. he has a great bedside manner, answers questions asked to him and is a very compassionate caring doctor.
