Dr. Jill Elise Mackey

I’m new to DE and did an exhaustive search of PCPs in the area. (I research everything)! I was down to a couple of options, but I chose Dr. Mackey based on availability and other reviews. I’m so glad I did. I found her to be extremely thorough, super personable & she made me more comfortable than I have ever felt with a doctor ever. I’m now confident that she is also the best choice for my husband and son. If you need a family physician, I highly recommend her!

Dr Mackey is wonderful! She's a compassionate listener, spends a generous amount of time during each visit, is extremely thoughtful & crosses all the T's & dots all the I's.

Dr. Mackey has been my doctor since 2001. She actually listens, tells you what you need to hear,and takes time to her job correctly and methodically.

Dr. Mackey is a thorough and effective physician. She is a very good listener, and connects details together well to provide intelligent and useful courses of treatment. She's one of the best doctors I've ever seen, and I will follow her anywhere (anywhere my insurance company lets me go, at least).

I have been going to Dr. Mackey for over 20+ years. However, as I tried to schedule my year physical I was treat poorly by the office member who answered the phone. I didn’t have my insurance card with me at the time I was trying to make my appointment plus I was also driving. The rude lady hung the phone up on me because I asked, “ Why couldn’t I just call back with the information once I returned home.” Her response was “this is our office policy “ and hung up on me. Terrible customer service!

When I first started seeing Dr. Mackey she was really attentive and seemed like she truly wanted to get to the bottom of my symptoms but as time went on all she wanted to do was prescribe meds which is something I don't like taking. Now all she wants to do is get you in and out. Stopped going to her because she now acts like i'm just a pain in her neck but she still has not made me feel any better than when I started going to her.

Dr. Mackey is very thorough and a good listener. I had a very painful condition that was misdiagnosed at the hospital - I followed up with her the next day, got an appointment right away and the medication I needed for my recovery. I have already referred her to family

Waited almost three months for a new patient appointment with Dr. Mackey, but when I arrived, I was pawned off onto the nurse practitioner, and I never even got to meet Dr. Mackey, who sat in her office the entire time!! I have no clue who she is! Disrespectful and uninterested.

I found Dr. Mackey after moving to Delaware using a company provided search engine. Our family is very happy with our selection of Dr. Mackey as she is very thorough and friendly. She take as much time as you need during your exam, never rushed. Her evaluations and diagnoses have been very helpful to our families care. Great Doctor, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Dr. Mackey is great. She takes the time to review your chart, listen to concerns, and individualize a plan for you. When there, staff is friendly. Unfortunately most of my calls to the office go unanswered. No VM. Or if you get a person, poor follow up. I must remember to call back again (and again).

Dr. Mackey is compassionate and takes her time to listen to the patient. She is conservative in her practice, which I appreciate. She doesn't seem to overdiagnose or overprescribe and makes holistic recommendations to quality of life. A true doctor!
