Dr. Joe Thomas Upton

Something has happened to this practice. After going to Dr. Upton for 21 years he has had a complete staff change and attitude change, and not for the good. They are not customer friendly anymore and they seem to concentrate more on a dollar than on customer care. After sitting on a large credit balance for two years, my husband had a procedure done. There was an issue with the insurance billing that we were able to clear up, but it took a couple of months. Because of this they calculated the final bill and instead of calling me, sent it directly to collection. When I called them they proceeded to blame me for the insurance issue, and told me it was my problem. If I had ever been a collection problem for them in the past, I would understand, but in 21 years and 7 children that went there, there has never been a dime that I owed this practice that I didn't pay, and pay on time. My family and I will never go back.

Reasonable prices and good care. Very gentle cleanings. Compassionate staff .

Jurked me around about my appt. Time when I called back and asked for the exact appointment time she said ok so you're coming I told her I was asking the exact time she yelled YES MAM and I said I'll just see y'all then and she hung up the phone very rude the nurse and actual Dr are great.

they were really friendly and treated u like a person and not a number lol and doc upton was great and would go back in a heartbeat if needed !!!

I went there to get a partial denture to fill left & right side of lower missing teeth. After his exam and X-ray pictures, I was scheduled for fitting. It was done by his son who said was a dental student. It was severely squeezing my lower gum. He made several adjustments without a success. He whimperly called for help by calling 'Dad. . . ' but Doc. never showed up. Despite of a pre-agreement on BCBS insurance payment I had with Doc, he failed to tell his accountant and I was charged in full.
