If there was a negative rating I would DEFINITELY be giving that. I am a terminal cancer patient with a ton of other health issues from Lupus, Fibro, Chiari Malformation, Lyme disease, Steven Johnson, severe GI issues and the list could go on and on. Within the first 2 minutes he was schooling me on my own kind of cancer as if I didn't know what I had and was very demening. I think he forgot he is a primary care and not an oncologist and I know alot more about cancer than him. Then he proceeds to ask me when I got diagnosed with Lyme. I began to tell him the story and he ABRUPTLY cuts me off and says " I didn't ask for your story, I asked for the year " and then proceeds to tell me about his Clearwater vacation back in 1987. Apparently his vacation was more important than my health issues!! I have interacted with hundreds of Drs with my medical past and lived in Tampa General Hospital for 3 months because of my cancers and I have NEVER met someone as RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and UNCARING as him!!! It's a shame because the girls in the office are wonderful and I was super excited with meeting him thinking the girls represented him but I couldn't of been more wrong!!! I would advise never to go to him and I will be telling everyone I meet the same. He TRULY needs to find another profession. If there was a negative rating I would DEFINITELY be giving that. I use Dr. Almirol as my Family Doctor. I like him Because he is very thorough and he covers everything in detail, after all he is a internal medicine doctor. He does lab work, X-rays to make sure, that I am okay, if not then he is more than happy to refer me to a good Doctor help in conjunction with him to help with my over all health care. While I was in the Hospital I couldn't ask for a better doctor or care. That's what matters most my health! I love my doctor!
