Great dentist and great staff!!! Always great!!

We didn't learn that this dentist is not in-network with any insurance plans until after we paid upfront and in full and received a partial reimbursement. My husband was told they collect the payment, file insurance and then would be reimbursed for the visit. It was implied that he would be reimbursed the entire amount. He paid $371 and recently received a $200 check. He contacted them about the partial reimbursement only to be told they are not in-network with any dental insurance plans. This was never communicated at the initial appointment. They informed him that they are not in network with any plans, but most plans "work with them." We are covered by Delta Dental which covers 100% preventive care such as annual teeth cleanings for in-network dentists. $171 lesson learned. It is disheartening that people/businesses aren't advocates for their potential patients. While my husband wouldn't have made the appointment with this particular dentist, he at least wouldn't have had a bad experience to share with others. He would have felt good about recommending them. Now, however, we will not be suggesting this dentist office to any one. I am livid at this place right now. I have a 4 year old with 2 cavities and we have been waiting for months to fix them. Finally the day arrived. I manage to get myself and my 2 kids through the door for our 8 am appointment, which is no easy feat. My 4 year old is nervous and puts on the water works, and without much effort to help the dentist decides to refer us elsewhere. If they aren't willing or capable of handling nervous kids they should not accept them as patients. I am so disappointed in this business! To top it off, they told me it was going to cost over $600 out of pocket to fill 2 cavities, which I agreed to pay bc I wanted the best treatment for my kid. I just feel like if I'm willing to pay for the best they should give their best efforts. I am livid at this place right now. We love Dr. Bain, Dr. Akridge, and the whole staff! They have always taken care of our entire family well! They are very knowledgeable in natural and green practices. This is definitely the best dentist in northwest Arkansas. I've been to several and had many terrible experiences, but these guys really care about their patients and the quality of their work.

They are a great team of Dentists and staff that provide all the services I need with a healthy, natural process. Always honest with me and never push services that I don't need unlike other dental offices I have experienced in Fayetteville. Give these folks a chance and you'll never look back.

I called this office to figure out some pricing details and ask some questions. As I asked a serious question the lady hung up on me. How rude don't go there.
