Very sensitive caring Dr

Dr Bivins took interest in my problem and clearly explained the treatment.

Saw Dr. Bivins as a “travel doc” before an overseas trip. My husband saw him at the same time. He was very personable and gave a lot of practical travel advice beyond just purely “medical advice”. We both liked him very much!

Dr. Bivins is very thorough and professional. He takes his time and always makes sure that I understand my level of care.

Truly an expert at listening to the patient!!!

Timely and professional at all times. Took time to listen and explained everything thoroughly. Never felt rushed.

Perfect personality for a physician, Patient and caring

I was pleasantly surprised at the care and attention I received from the nurses and the doctor. I simply wasn't used to so much care and attention and information. Everyone explained what they were going to do and what I might experience. I felt like a person not simply a patient. Dr. Bivins is very patient and exudes confidence that you will be ok. I had been a patient in a large competing health care system in the are for many years but had grown increasingly uneasy at the declining quality of care and service. It is nearly impossible to get test results from Dr. Bivins. I have waited over two months for results at times. This has happened repeatedly, so it is not a one-time issue. I honestly don't think he even bothers to review the results until I call and ask about the results. He also sent me a bill for briefly telling me my test results- this has never happened before with any doctor I have seen. I do NOT recommend this doctor to anyone with any type of health concern. Dr. Bivens abs the staff are friendly, attentive and listen to patient’s concerns.

Dr. Bivens is an intelligent, common sensical and extrememy caring doctor. I would recommend him to anyone with full confidence!

Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen or worked with in my 55 years. Highly intelligent and very progressive. He stays very current with new medical information and is not a pill pusher. He's also one of the calmest, friendliest people you'll ever meet. I've even met him outside of the office and he's the same genuine person everywhere. You won't find many like John in this occupation. I cannot tell you how lucky I feel to have him as my primary care doctor. He's helped me tremendously over the years. Service was excellent. Answered all my questions and explained medical terms.

Wonderful doctor! Explains everything well! Very understanding of my needs and a good listener!

He is great

First, Dr.Bivins is great, but his support staff is horrible. I have a 4 month old son who was a patient with him, and we were between health insurances, because I decided to become a stay at home mom, so I called to ask how much the next visit would be, and was given the run around, but booked the appointment anyway. A nurse called me one business day before his appointment and made it clear that it was less than ideal that I did not have the new insurance information, and I felt as if they did not want to see him unless we could pay. I made it clear paying out of pocket wouldn’t be a problem, but the nurse’s attitude made me feel like my son was an unwanted patient, because we were waiting on insurance information from my husband’s job. Unfortunately, I am uncomfortable taking my son to a doctor’s office who’s staff is inflexible and rude. Again, Dr. Bivins himself is fantastic, but most of the time you work with his staff. I really like this doctor! Definitely recommend him if you are looking for good family doctor!

Dr. Bivins and his entire staff are always very friendly. They take time with each patient and you never feel rushed. They really take time to listen and take a real interest in what you have to say.

Nurse and Dr. Bivins gave a thorough examination. Did a urinalysis for possible urinary tract infection. Follow up call from Nurse Kim, greatly appreciated. Antibiotics prescribed.

Dr Bivins is a wonderful and very attentive doctor. He is extremely bright, very calm and explains everything very clearly to me. All of the nurses and administrative staff are informed and kind and very client centric.

Good dr office and everyone is nice and helpful

Dr. Bivins has been my Doc for...at least ten years? I wanted a doctor who could perform all my necessary female exams and tests--as well as take care of routine "I feel like crap" situations. Dr. Bivins is that doctor. I trust him implicitly. He is always direct and honest about my health and my well-being. He is patient and knowledgeable with my questions. And I would recommend him to my family, my friends, and to anyone reading this!

Simply put....Dr. Bivins is the BEST! DOCTOR! EVER! I cannot recommend him highly enough!!

My first visit was very pleasant. Dr. Bivins listened and shared information with me, took his time to do so, and I learned new things. He is very kind and focuses on patient needs and then how to help.

Dr, Bivins is the primary physician for my teenage sons and my husband. He is accessible, capable, respectful and caring and his nurses and support staff are fantastic.

Dr. Bivins is a very good doctor, but a doctor is more than just himself; his support staff is important as well. His nurse Lori is great. Rosemary is not so great. After several abrasive encounters with Rosemary, I have dropped Bivins as my primary care physician. Also, there have been more times than not (literally) when prescriptions have not been fulfilled. Sometimes I have had to call back to the office 3 times to get them to call in a prescription. This last time I tried to get an appointment, it was first approved. Then I get a text message asking me to call back to the office. I called in and they said there was no problem. Then later Rosemary calls me and says the Dr. won't see sick patients. What! I wonder what doctors are for. We finally reach Bivins directly and or course he supports Rosemary. Neither my wife nor I will be seeing Bivins again. It's sad because he is a good doctor, but Rosemary is a problem.

Dr Bivin's was my husband's PCP. My husband was feeling poorly so I called for an appointment. I was told they were no longer seeing sick patients. So I asked for a virtual visit. It was scheduled but then the nurse called. She said it was her decision what had to be done. I told her my husband wanted to talk to the doctor, not her. She insisted she had to be able to talk to my husband although I told her he was sleeping. When I woke him up she started screeching at him that he had to go to the emergency room. We explained we did not feel the ER would be helpful and we wanted to talk to the doctor. She continued screeching that we had to go to the emergency room. We finally gave her a few choice words. Then the doctor, who was too busy to see or talk to my husband about his condition, called to defend his nurse. So now my husband who has a number of chronic issues has to find a new PCP.

I have seen Dr. Bivens several times over the past few years. He is always warm and friendly, attentive and not rushed. So far, he has always been able to cure what ails me.

Fabulous Dr. I trust completely. No longer feel like a "number".

Dr. Bivins is the most amazing physician out there. Period. He's been my doctor for 8 years, I think. Honestly... just all around, you will have a great experience.
