Business must be good. They never return phone calls.

No one ever answers the phone or returns messages. Dr. Brittis does not explain your condition or diagnosis in detail. When you ask questions he sort of brushes you off. I’m looking for a new rheumatologist now.

I usually don't do this about Doctors but I felt I had to review Dr. Britis for all you folks moving down here from up North. Do not go to him I reapeat do not go to him. If you get a referral from one of your doctors tell them you want to be referred to someone in Savannah or Charleston. I referred to him by a Spine Doctor why? probably because he is the only one in the area. I went to him for a specific problem and never felt that he addressed it. I have Reactive Authoritis due to Crohns I never felt he understood that. I told him that was transitioning from Entyvio to Humira as soon as the pre-authorization with Insurance was completed but if there was some glitch could he possibly prescribe it for me flat out said no because he did not want his assistant who he pays $60 and hour to be on the phone for a long time?? I then asked him if he could give me a prescription for Tramadol for the back pain and Arthritis that was another negative because he it is a controlled substance?? The first time I was prescribed Tramadol many years ago was by a Rheumatologist!! So if you have RA issues make the drive to Savannah or Charleston. Always om time for my appointments. Very competent staff.

I have been great by Dr. Brittis for some time. In My opinion, having been treated by recognized Expert Practitioners at The University of Texas Houston medical center for AS, Dr. Brittis is a Marvelous doctor, and I recommend Him Very Highly.

Great place nice parking when you go see your Doctor.

Wife goes to Dr Brittis for her RA, and then there for infusion of RS meds. Great staff.

He is a very caring and knowledgeable physician, spends time with his patients and explains everything. Would highly recommend him.

Very fine doctor. Will to spend time to answer questions. Up to date on new treatment options.

I've had RA for over 20 years and recently moved to Bluffton SC from Philadelphia area. I was concerned about the level of care I would receive in the south but was happily surprised about how awesome he is. I loved the fact that he had already reviewed my file from my previous doctor and truly seemed to care about me and my disease. He listened and answered my questions honestly and short wait times which is very important!!

Great first visit. Fingers crossed!

Dr Brittis is a very personable and knowledgeable Dr. I am so glad my primary referred me to him. I feel confident now that I have a diagnosis and we are working on a cure. Watching him decipher my bloodwork was amazing but he certainly knows what he is doing. I know things will change down the road but I feel like I am in good hands. I was referred to Dr Brittis with fibromyalgia. My doctor told me right up front that rheumatoid Drs no longer treat fibromyalgia but because of inflammation markers in blood work he wanted me to see him. He is very knowledgeable, personable and timely. He did find other markers in my blood work and was able to help me with another condition. Most people who have a bad experience post reviews. We need to start posting the positive ones.

Great Dr! Really cares and really listens. True that he greets you and there is no wait time! Worth the wait for the initial appointment!

I was referred to Dr,Brittis from another doctor. He told me could not help me, but Did run some lab work.Nobody called me with my results patient portal did not work for me, when I call from my results The receptionist Tina was extremely rude,and not willing to help. Like i was actually wrong for wanting MY test results, and maybe some guidance in to where I should go next for my chronic pain. Got no help with either not really sure why. It saddens me what health care has come to.

Dr. Brittis is great. He does not push biologics and was immediately able to diagnose me with PSA.

On his profile it says he treats Fibromyalgia and my physician referred me to him. 2 seconds into visit he says he does not treat Fibromyalgia. So he runs some blood work of which his office never calls me with results. Collects his $copay and bye bye!!!

I was referred to Dr. Brittis to be checked for a genetic condition. I was in the waiting room for less than 3 minutes and he came out to get me himself. He spent a lot of time asking questions and really listened to my answers. He ordered blood work and said I only needed to come back in if I had positive results--most doctors would have made me come back in no matter what. I really appreciate this kind of practicality, as it's disappearing from doctor's offices. I was very impressed.

He is amazing doctor, he knew my diagnosis where no other doctor could figure it out. I was surprised to see the other negative comments because this doctor is the best around.

Doctor provides excellent care and explains in full detail. I have been to two other rheumatologist in the past five years and this is the only doctor that has helped me with all of my issues. Spends an ample amount of time with each patient and does not make you wait a ridiculous amount of time in his waiting room. I have recommended this doctor to all my family and friends

Very knowledgeable, concerned and thorough each visit. I would recommend him highly to anybody needing a rheumatologist.

This DOCTOR is a major jerk. He has no manors, has narcissistic issues, spends less than 10 minutes with me, guesses my weight. I would like to believe he cares about me as a patient ( WRONG ) It's obvious to me his love for money far surpasses his care of treatment. MAYBE IT'S TIME TO RETIRE. It's to bad he's the Only one in Beaufort county.
