We absolutely loved it here. It is affordable and everyone was so nice, Michelle was the one who helped me and my husband with his appointment and took outstanding care of him. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Goosey is the best. I had a successful lasik survey over 25 years ago and a follow up ten years ago. It wears off a bit years later but I went for a check up today and he said we can keep you away from doing that, but I can suggest these eyedrops that could really help. Dr Goosey by far the best there there is in his field .I have had 3 cornea transplants and anytime I am have any issues he is always willing to get me in to see him almost within the same day I call. There are many doctored out there that would make me wait. Thanks for always being available Dr Goosey!!!

I arrived a few mins early for my appointment and was taken straight to the exam room. The nurse came in and did a complete eye exam. When Dr Goosey came in to explain the results and what needed to be done. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Goosey is very professional, extremely knowledgeable in his field, and personable. I've been with him for 19 years and would never think about seeing another ophthalmologist. He performed my PRK procedure with success back then and I've continued to see him annually since (would be so disappointed if he retires). His office staff is equally professional and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody.

I have seen dr Goosey for over 20 years now.. He literally saved my eye at one point I felt lucky he was experienced enough to identify what I had. I just finished cataract surgery and he was amazing. I feel very fortunate he is my eye dr.

The keratectomy laser procedure Dr. Goosey performed for epithelial membrane dystrophy ruined the focus in my right eye. See double. Now have chronic headache. Should have requested second opinion.

Dr. Goosey was recommended to us by our Optometrist at the University of Houston University Eye Institute. He performed cataract surgery on my left eye. He has a lot of experience, is enjoyable to talk to, uses the latest equipment and gets excellent results. I recently had cataract removal with lens implant. Dr. Goosey is an excellent surgeon, with an excellent surgery team by his side. His office staff is very professional as well. They explained everything so I would be aware of the details of the procedure. I'm very pleased with my outcome and already have my next surgery scheduled. Can't be soon enough. Staff and Dr goosey were excellent and helped through the whole process. A bit pricey but I don't think you want to get discount eye surgery. Healing up rapidly and vision getting better every day . Has been my Opthamalogist for over 2 decades because he is the top of his profession . I travel 9 hours to him, not to come to Houston where I used to live. Dr. Goosey is that good. He latest is the cataract surgery using a laser process. My poor eyesight now needs no correction and therefore I don’t need glasses to see either long distance or up close. Colors pop! Before, everything looked “tarnished.” If you want the best, go to Dr. Goosey.

I highly recommend Dr Goosey to anyone meeting Lasik surgery for any reason. He is extremely competent and cares for his patients.

Overall, the doctor seems to know what he is doing. He does have awfully long wait time. Also, he did below par job on my lasik. Would recommend only if you have no other option.

I was extremely nearsighted since I was a young child, -8.0 diopters since my teens, and at age 51 decided to have Lasik surgery. After a lot of careful research I chose Dr. Goosey, as I noticed many of his references were from surgeons and doctors who entrusted their eyes to him. I couldn't have made a better decision - it's been over 9 years since my surgery and I still test 20/20 or better.

Terrible wait time. Told by front office after waiting 1.25 hours expect to wait at least 2 hours each visit. Have been seeing Dr Goosey for many years but he is so extremely busy, he doesn't have time to be attentive to his patients with special cases.

Great experience. Did great job explaining procedure, options, and recommendations. Good bedside manner. Would definitely recommend him to others for cataract surgery.

I visited with four doctors concerning cataracts and thank goodness the fourth doctor referred me to Dr. Goosey. To be honest, I was scared to death (about the first surgery) not knowing what to expect before meeting Dr. Goosey, but after meeting him his calming and caring demeanor put me at ease. He explained everything as I hoped he would. Long story short, I had cataract surgery done on both eyes (six months apart) by Dr. Goosey with great success! His office staff are all professional and extremely friendly and worked with me on office visits and surgery schedule(s) due to my five hour commute from the Rio Grande Valley. Multi focal lense laser surgery for cataract

He is the best of the best. When other docs say they cant do it or could not suggest a certain procedure, Dr Goosey can explain in simple layman's terms what it means, and give you reading materials to study so you can come up with your best decision for yourself if needed. How can you go wrong with an award winning expert who is the choice of the doctors themselves. He's personality is awesome and always been very nice but professional to his patients.

Dr. Goosey has saved my sight twice in 2 different operations. He did cornea transplant surgery on my right eye back in 2015 . He recently did cornea transplant on my left eye and thank Dr. Goosey and God I feel like I have perfect vision. i would give him 10 stars if there were more room up there where the stars are. Im not very good at writing as you can see but this doctor is the very best there is, like a friend also.

I had cataract surgery in both eyes performed by Dr. John Goosey. He is excellent, very thorough in his diagnosis and explains the procedures and options you have as a patient. Dr Goosey is a very skilled and experienced surgeon. He performed a very successful cataract surgery on my left eye and I am very pleased with the outcome. He has so many patients that wait times in his office may be a bit long but this is a small price to pay, easily trumped by the comforting feeling to have entrusted your precious eye to a master surgeon. His experience paid off when my cornea failed to respond to the liquid bonding agent that works for most patients to seal the laser insicion. He knew exactly how to handle the situation and resolved the issue instantly. I am now enjoying my newfound perfect vision.

Dr. Goosey is straightforward and easy to talk to. His staff is excellent all around. No hesitation in recommending him and his staff.
