Dr. John S. Howland

Dr. Howland is an extremely kind and caring doctor with an absolutely amazing staff. I am very fortunate to have found them and have them in my life.

I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Howland within 2 months after moving to the area back in 2014, and have nothing but good things to say about him. If you’re lucky enough to find your way to him I’ll tell you you’re in good hands. He’s a kind soul who truly cares about the physical and mental well being of his patients.

Dr Howland I have known for years. Not only was I a nurse caring for his patients in LTC he is my own PCP and never has he failed me in anything I ask or may need.

I use to go to Dr. Howland but i do not any longer. He is a very rude doctor and he doesn't care if he hurts your feelings. He should be more understanding and listen to his patients when something is bothering them. I wouldn't recommend him to any of my friends.

Dr howland is a nice doctor but broke doctor, patient privilege and discussed things about me to someone else. And his Nurse has a horrible bed side manner is very rude and thinks she is better then others!!!

If there was a category for '0' I would choose it for this doctor. At least 2 years ago, my father in law had blood work done which showed he had hypo-thyroidism. He's been suffering for at least 2 years and the doctor and the staff told him his blood work was fine. We had to take him to a specialist who is now treating him properly. If you're looking to lose a loved one, be treated with ignorant care and stupidity, this is the doctor for you. I can't believe this man is in practice. Dr Howland is a doctor whom actually cares about his patients . He takes the time to inform you of all aspects of your treatment .

Him and his staff are awesome. Best doctor I've ever had

I have been a patient of Dr Howland’s for around 9 months, and have been visiting him on a monthly basis. He treats me for medical follow ups along with a detailed recovery treatment program that helps me maintain my sobriety. Dr Howland is very good at his work, and he is very knowledgeable when it comes to answering any questions or concerns that I have. He is understanding and very genuine. He has disgussed carefully with me about relapse prevention techniques, the 12 step process, and about the importance of having a sponsor in recovery. Thus far, I have been clean for an entire 9 months and it feels great! Thanks to the help of the recovery treatment program that Dr Howland has provided me. It is by Miracle that today I am able to be clean and happy while living a positive, more productive life. Dr Howland has always been kind, helpful, accurate, and on-point with all of my treatment needs. I've been going to Dr. Howland for years now. He is a wonderful doctor and is very understanding. Everybody likes him because he does listen to you. He gets to know his patients and he's just such a pleasent doctor. He's the best!! Carolyn Baylies
