My brother, my daughter and I are all patients of Dr. Huyette. He is the best doctor I have ever had. He takes time to explain things clearly. I tried calling to make an appt and the receptionist couldn’t be more rude! Needless to say I’ll be looking for another doctor because that just leaves a sour taste in my mouth

I am writing this review with a very heavy heart. My husband & I have been going to Dr. Huyette for years a& we have never, not once felt that he did not care about our medical needs & concerns. He has always examine us, sat & discussed with us our medical issues & ways to combat or control the medical issue. I have a lot of gratitude & admiration concerning doctor Huyette, & this is why it is so hard for me to write this review, expressing negative feelings toward him & his practice but I am just in total disbelief , so much that it took me a few minutes to start this because i could not stop crying and the tears were falling on my laptop. My husband recently got laid off his job and COBRA was too expensive, so we went to the marketplace, long story short, chose a name I have never heard of and most of the medical places we went had not either. We began to get all this very high bills, bills that we never got before, (my husband and I have always carried health and life insurance), so what I was able to discover is that the broker on the Market Place was not honest and none of our doctors, etc that we have had for years were in the network. We lodged a complaint with several entities concerning this misleading that we were dealt. This off the wall insurance company was charging 789 dollars a month. We were directed by our attorney to go to the market place and they may be able to get some real help with the premiums. We complete the application and it came back that we were eligible for Medicaid, now please don't take this the wrong way, but we are not welfare people. We maintained employment, etc, but right now we are in a very bad spot. So my husband called the other day to see Dr. Huyette and today was supposed to be the appointment. I called the office to see if I could come with my husband because all I needed was to ask to renew one of y prescriptions and possibly get a higher dosage because the medication wasn't working. I get a call from Meg at his office, which she was very condescending I must add and its not the first time. All of his staff upfront has always been extremely short and condescendingut we did not allow us to stop coming to his office is because he has always been so good to us. We she informs me that Dr, Huyette said that he will not see me because I now longer have insurance that they accept and they will not allow us to pay for the visit out of pocket. I could not believe what I was hearing. I asked her, "so you are telling me today, that Dr, Huyette told you that he would not be able to see me today simply because we are having a slight hiccup in our lives, and that after years of going to him, and for years handling my medical needs that he is just going to drop me like a hot potatoe because something happened that caused us to lose our insurance for the meantime, (which my husband has just been blessed with a full time and they offer benefits after 60 days, I need to add). And she gives me another blow to my heart, she said oh and he won't be seeing your husband also if he has medicaid also. I can not believe that the Dr. Huyette that I know and have trusted for YEARS and my husband also, would just totally turn his back on us, knowing that he is PCP because of a temporary situation. He took an oath to help people to the best of his ability. I kept telling Meg that we would pay out of pocket today because the urgency. She said go to the ER, well last week I did and they hospitalized me, however, I have come to trust and love Dr. Huyette only to be made to feel like it is not about the relationship , and trust that we have built with him, or the longevity. I just don't know what else to say except I truly can not believe that his is happening. I refuse to believe that the man that my husband and I have put our totally medical trust in would just dismiss us just like that!!! SNAP YOU NO LONGER MATTER!!!!! I know that he has a lot of patients and maybe we don't matter when it comes to volume or money, but I really thought that the relationship meant everything. Dr Huyette is the Best ! Saved my Husbands life and continues to care for both of us ! He always listens and he knows his stuff ! Both me and my husband Loves Dr Huyette ! So Glad about 15 years ago we found him ! referred all our family and friends to Him !

Dr. Huyette has been our family physician for over 30 years. We have continued using his service as he exhibits intelligence and desire to keep abreast of a constantly changing medical world, while showing patience and concern for his patients. His warm welcome is complimented by a friendly and effective staff, many of whom have been with him for many years.

Dr. Huyette is outstanding! I have to say he answers the questions (before asked) of your condition/diagnosis. You know how you can walk out of a doctors office and say to yourself I should of asked XY and Z. He answers the questions he would ask if he were the patient. I absolutely love that about him. He has you write down your condition/diagnosis so you remember and can research it if you like. He is an old fashion doctor, caring and thorough. The only negative is the office hours.
