Even though I had to travel from Summerlin to Henderson to see Dr Kastrup, I would not go to anyone else. He has helped me before with my knees and he doesn’t rush to encourage replacement therapies. I highly recommend Dr Kastrup

Dr. Kastrup was in room in a timely manner and made sure to answer all of my questions.

Caring, Compassionate and Knowledgeable. Not like other Doctors I have had experience with.

Not happy. Dr. trying to force his personal beliefs on his patient by refusing treatment unless I conform to his NON-MEDICAL beliefs. Also I left numerous messages with the office patient advocate. None of my calls were returned.

Dr Kastrup and his staff were excellent and very thorough about answering my concerns about my hip and knee.

Got there on time only to be told we would have to wait another hour for a room, To be in the room with my wife. I am her care giver and have legal rights to be there. They said they didn’t have a room big enough for both of us. Then after an hour and a half we saw the doctor he said she didn’t have a infection in her hip but she (might) have movement in the femur with the rod. And if she needed a operation she would have to go to a different doctor. Because our insurance company would no longer be them. So after hundreds of dollars in test waiting for a room, he said there is barely enough room for a wheelchair in the regular rooms. And this is a Orthopedic office? Only thing I leave with is she doesn’t have a infection and she might have movement in the femur, and we have to go to another doctor if we want a operation.

There was very little waiting, and Dr. Kastrup was nice and explained the results clearly.

I am 74+ yrs old, and Dr K recently performed a total knee replacement for me. He has to be the most professional Dr, and knowledgeable about what he does. His demeanor is always happy and pleasant, because he seems to have a smile on his face every time I see him. He answers questions about everything I ask and he makes me feel completely at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone who requires help with their knees!

Dr. Kastrup is very knowledgeable and ordered X-rays and we went over them together. I am pleased Dr. Kastrup didn’t push a surgical solution immediately.

This was a follow-up visit for a full hip replacement. The waiting time was short, the staff was pleasant, and Dr. Kastrup andwered all of my questions.

I liked Dr. Kastrup very much. We reviewed my MRI together, explaining my knee issues. He was able to help me without surgery at this time, explaining a variety of options to take before an inevitable knee replacement. Did not have to wait a long time. The staff is also very friendly and professional.

100% recommend Dr Kastrup & his team. I had total hip replacement and the outcome so far is fantastic (I’m day 16 post op). He takes the time to listen & answer all questions & concerns .. he visited me in the hospital the next day too which is huge. Dr Kastrup will absolutely be doing my next hip replacement also. Super punctual office visits too….5 stars all around.

I got there early but was taken in right away. The doctor came in as soon as the nurse was done. He took his time with me and answered all of my questions. He was very warm and friendly.

It's the best place to go

I am so very thankful to Dr. Kastrup for my hip replacement surgery! Before I had terrible excruciating pain. Now I can walk and carry on with my daily activities with no pain! Dr. Kastrup explained everything to me throughly, and helped me with getting walkers and tools and therapy, to make my recovery successful! Thank you Dr. Kastrup!

From the front desk to the check in to the nurse n Dr. They were amazing n helpful n just very nice. They treated you with a smile n very helpful.

Don't see Dr. Kastrup often, but he easily remembers and after 8 years since my femur fracture, I'm ready to have that knee replaced. He's kept me mobile with the exercises and injections for that time.

Before coming to Dr Kastrup I went to another office that would only talk about hip or knee not both and never brought up my condition. Dr Kastrup took the time to look at everything and asked me numerous questions and then told me he'll take care of me . Lynel his assistant has walked me through the whole process of getting surgery scheduled. There whole staff is wonderful

Talking with other patients three out of the four of us got massive infections after surgery.

Dr Kastrup is an amazing surgeon who gave me a new hip and changed my life from pain to being able to function again and resume a normal life being able to do everything again on my own.

Dr. Kastrup and his staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. They were able to take x-rays on site and explain everything happening with my knee — including what to expect in the future. Patiently addressed all my questions. Highly recommend!

Very pleased with my 1st visit with Dr. Kastrup. It went as well as expected. His explanations were understandable and to the point. The treatment was as expected.

I liked Dr. Kastrup very much. He is very likable. He was able to help me without surgery and explained everything to me so that I could understand it. Did not have to wait a long time. The staff is also very friendly and professional.

A second follow up appointment to knee replacement surgery. The surgery itself seems to have gone well. But there have been several unexpected problems associated with it including severe gastritis and a 23 pound undesired weight loss with associated complications. Additionally two surgical wounds are still not fully healed apparently due to sutures that have not fully resolved. and some lingering kneecap soreness. Recovery has not been as complete and problem free as I would have expected. I remain conflicted about the decision to have the surgery but we’ll see how I feel by 6 months.

Yes I would recommend Dr Kastrup to anyone with knee issues.

He explained what I need to do in order to proceed with my own health plan before he can do his job with the best results. I had a Total Knee left Replacement performed by Dr. Kastrup. The entire process from start to finish was just awesome. So good in fact that I'm going to have him fix my right knee. Highly recommend him!!
