Not taking new patients, and does not have recommendations!! You would think this would be standard practice, guess I am old school!!

Always thorough. Treats his patients as if they were his children in that he takes his time as if you were his only patient. Returns my calls and makes himself available if needed.

He is so good!! He talks to you till you understand. Always makes the rounds @ the hospital when most doctors don’t! But most of all! He cares!! How often do you get that in this world anymore.

Dr.Larrimer is the only Dr. you will ever need,he is a blessing to the medical profession. It's a shame more physician's do not share his Integrity and empathy. Thanks for all you do Dr John for being my Dr and a friend.

Great doctor that educates his patients on how to pay attention to how you feel. And trust it.

Been a patient for about 10 years to manage my thyroid issues. Old fashioned doctor who spends quality time during each visit asking lots of questions about how I'm feeling and not just on what my blood work numbers say. He takes all of it into consideration and gives his best advice of how to move forward with medical issues. The best advice I've ever gotten from any doctor came from Dr. Larrimer on my first visit and he repeats it on every visit as well. He told me that I am my own primary care doctor first before anyone else because I'm the one who is actually experiencing first hand the symptoms and who can tell if I feel better, worse, or the same than the last time I saw him or when we've changed any of my medications. He taught me I have a voice and it's my right and responsibility to ask questions about my health care from any of my doctors and to take an active role and read my own medical records on file with other doctors if I need to - something I never would have thought to do before meeting Dr. Larrimer but I've done in the last few years regarding some other major medical issues I've had. His office has not gone to digital records yet and I don't think they are planning to any time soon, but they always follow up on everything in writing in a timely manner. Office staff is friendly and helpful. They do not take credit cards though, so I have to remember to bring cash or checkbook with me each visit. Dr. Larrimer is great. I travel almost 2 hours to see him over any of my local endocrinologist. If you feel off and call his office he personally calls you back. If that results in bloodwork he also personally calls you back with results/instructions for possible resolutions. I see him for thyroid issues. He does not look at #s and say well you r fine if u dont feel fine. He works with u to find the right # for YOU! He is old school. Keeps detailed paper records he writes himself. Caring doc!

Been going to him since 1977. He is an excellent physician who listens to his patients and takes his time to clearly explain one's medical problems, resolution of and provides excellent advice on preventive measures for all around good health. He maintains detailed individual medical records on paper and his memory is second to none. I consider him to be an excellent doctor and friend. If you call his office about a problem and talk with his nurse, Dr. Larrimer will also call you back.
