Dr. Merson does not know to do shoulder surgery at all. My husband had shoulder surgery with him, he felt worst after. We went to another specialist he had to the same surgery all over again. During our visit to physical therapy, the therapist were telling us, the patient who comes from Dr. Merson they have to redo their surgeries.

Mercen is great... known this office since Oberlander started there. Problem, since Mercen joined the Muir Network it is (to me) less efficient. Now when you call you get the Muir Call Center, play phone tag on setting appointments, and other nonsense. You can no longer reach the staff directly. Days go by vs originally calling the office directly as in the past. Appears I am going to have to appear in person. Called today 3 times, sat on hold, and then hung up - just can't reach them
