My appt was at 3:50pm. It’s 5pm and he still hasn’t seen me. I got up, told the receptionists I can no longer wait then I stormed out. I waited an hour — longer than I would like. I was very, very upset. This office has no respect for other people’s time. Terrible.

Dr. Chahal has been my ophthalmologist for over 6 years and I highly recommend him. This summer I had cataract surgery on both eyes with special lens implants that not only corrected my profound nearsightedness, but also my severe astigmatism. What a joy to be able to see so clearly! While I must confess to being anxious while anticipating the surgeries, it turned out to be a piece of cake. Dr. Chahal is knowledgeable, conscientious, caring, and has such a wonderful manner. He knows how to keep it light and make you feel comfortable. He is an excellent, talented, experienced surgeon who obviously enjoys his work. His staff is top-notch, thorough, and attentive, as is the surgery center, making the whole experience easy and pleasant.

Dr. Chahal's staff is friendly, well organized and keeps the office running smoothly. Dr. Chahal is friendly as well as knowledgable. He explained everything clearly which made me comfortable and ready for cataract surgery. I had both eyes done within 2 weeks of each other and the outcome is amazing!

My experience with Dr. Chahal; the initial evaluation of cataracts and astigmatism in both eyes, the process for determination for the correct replacement lenses, the benefit of the CATALYS laser process for precision and astigmatism correction and the surgical replacement of both lenses within a two week period was outstanding. Bright, 20/20 crystal clear vision. Dr. Chahal has a extremely capable support staff who do a meticulous job with support information, pre and post surgical follow up. I would not hesitate a moment to recommend Dr. Chahal.

Dr. Chahal removed a cataract in my left eye. He did an excellent job. There was no pain and although I did not opt for laser surgery I am extremely pleased with the results. Can't wait to get the right eye done. I would strongly recommend Dr. Chahal to anyone needing cataract surgery. He is the best!

Our whole family had cataracts removed by Dr. Chahal, great Doctor, we tried another Dr. of Ophthalmology. when Dr. Chahal moved his practice to Concord, but was not happy, so myself, husband and sister, traveled to Concord, he is attentive and thorough in his examination, and explains as he go's along, highly recommend Dr. Chahal to all my friends and family

I have been seeing Dr. Chahal for many years and highly recommend him for any and all eye problems. He is one of the kindest, most caring doctors I have ever come across and treats his patients as if they are family. His office staff are warm and welcoming, and I haven't had any issues with scheduling appointments or other logistical issues over the years. As a final point, I want to emphasize just how good of a doctor he is--I trust his diagnoses and decisions 100%.

I was impressed with my experience at Dr.Chahal's office. My first contact was with Pri and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and kind she was and how fast she was at getting back to me! Dr;Chahal is not only an excellent surgical ophthalmologist ( two cataracts were removed, using laser procedure. No pain or discomfort post-op and vision improved 100%.), but all around nice and caring person. Although this is a very busy practice , all appointments were on schedule, no wait. Thanks.

I have been seeing Dr. Chahal for approx. 10 years when he originally started his practice in Vacaville. When his office relocated to Concord, I transferred my care to his Concord office, even though it is a 30 min drive + bridge toll. He is very caring, compassionate competent and thorough. I highly recommend him and is overly please with the care and services I have received. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating as well.
