My best friend called to change her appointment because she’s got to go through a second round of chemo and the person who answered the phone was very rude and say no we can’t change your appointment. she tried to explain to them that she had a second round of chemo coming up and she might not be able to make the appointment and wanted to come in a little sooner if possible. The person on the phone said, “I can’t help that you’re going through chemo you still can’t change your appointment to any sooner that’s as soon as that we have.” in the past I’ve had doctors appointments and dentist appointments and the people that I work with have gone above and beyond to call other patients to ask if it’s possible if they could have a change of appointments with me so that I could come in earlier time. this kind of compassion that is needed not, “oh no you just gonna have to deal with it”!!!! Dr Neely is the reason I went ahead with getting my implant. I have been putting it off for awhile but he made me feel comfortable and confident in him. Other family members had been to his office and had work done so I went on their recommendations to go there. All the office personnel and everyone took good care of me. Dr Neely did a very fine job with my implants. I was with a different regular Dentist when I was referred to Pinehurst Oral, originally because Pete McKay (from Seven Lakes) thought the stitches he placed had been burned out of my head by my vaporizer (electronic cigarette) and he was on to something - you could see the glow in his eyes, ready to write a paper to compete with his wife (who's a medical doctor). Turns out Dr Pete Mckay put the wrong kind of stitch in my mouth for where soft and hard tissue meet, he used a pillow stitch. There were no burns, just tears where the pillow stitch pulled out, painfully. I quit visiting Pete McKay, and have been happy ever since. My current dentist is great, Dr Charles Guizzotti in Carthage is wonderful, and about every time Im in there he speaks highly of Neely, and the work he did in my mouth.
