Dr Russo gives options, realistic timelines and you do not leave any visit with a question lingering. I have been a patient of Dr Russo’s for over ten years and had multiple gum surgeries done by him. The quality of service and care is excellent. Recently I had another gum surgery done, this time on both sides of my mouth. I expected to have pain and swelling but this time it was pain free! I was amazed. Same good outcome but Dr Russo used a new pain medicine and I was very pleased with the results and no pain!!! Thank you Dr Russo! I have been going to Dr. Russo for several years now. He and his professional and personable staff have kept me smiling through some relatively serious dental issues and implant needs. He's always kept me well informed of my options and costs. He's been extremely accommodating to me as a patient and a customer, meeting time constraints and other needs. All of my experiences whether minor or major have been basically pain free. After more extensive procedures I'm well instructed on post op care for myself and am given a thoughtful comfort package to take with me when I leave the office. As you can imagine, this wasn't a procedure I was looking forward to, but knew I needed to have it done. Dr. Russo was great each step of the way. Dr. Russo is my favorite dentist truly. I have done a lot of dental work with him and am very happy to have him as my doctor. Dr. Russo is a very knowledgeable provider who knows his stuff and tells you how it is and what is best for the patient. I highly recommend Dr. Russo. I went to him for my gum recession; I needed gum grafts on 5 teeth, especially because I wanted to get braces (and wanted to prevent further damage). First, the staff is amazing. Everyone has been so nice in the few months they have worked with me. The office is always clean and the receptionists are responsive, friendly, and they answered all the questions I had! Dr. Russo is great. He also answered all the questions I had and took the time to explain my treatment plan in detail before starting anything. He split my gum graft procedures into two appointments so that I could use half of my mouth while the other half healed. After my gum grafts, which were very quick, they provided a thoughtful gift bag that contained some foods that I could eat, as well as a mouth guard so that I didn’t have to feel the stitches! When they gave this, they explained everything I should and should not do for a full recovery. :) Through this whole process, I felt that my needs were fully addressed, I felt cared for and most of all, I was very pleased with the experience and results. Everything healed very nicely. Trust the process - the outcome is wonderful. :) I am very happy that I chose Dr. Russo. P.S. The procedures were not painful at all. I had a tooth extracted from a failed root canal elsewhere, plus the tooth had cracked after that procedure and couldn't be saved. The extraction was further complicated since the root had grown high up near the sinus cavity necessitating a bone graft as well. I was very nervous about this. Dr Russo and staff were reassuring, and the procedure was pain free. Post extraction instructions were clear. Adequate pain control instruction was given. Office staff were efficient and caring.

I have known Dr. John Russo for many years and am a patient of his. I received my first dental implant from him and the procedure was literally "Pain Free". He is a great doctor and I highly recommend him.

Our 9 year old son was told by his dentist that he needed to have a gum graft. This terrified him since he is afraid of blood and IVs. However, during the consultation, Dr. Russo explained that: 1)he could use novocaine during the procedure and that an IV wasn't necessary; 2) it wouldn't take long at all; and 3) it was easier than a filling for a cavity or having a tooth pulled. He had a parent with him during the procedure and did fine. Since the gum graft, he told his teacher and friends, it wasn't bad at all, thanks to his great doctor. Everyone in the office truly cares about the patients. The total cost was a fraction of the estimates given by other periodontists. We highly recommend Dr. Russo for everyone! I had a gum graft, bone graft and implant 14 years ago by Dr. Russo. I recently had him check it and I looks great. His office staff is extremely nice and I would definitely recommend Dr. Russo.

I feel that I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Russo five years ago when I needed a gum graft. He was very straight forward in telling me what needed to be done, what to expect in terms of healing/recovery and precise figures for his fees. His work was performed in a very professional fashion with a strong commitment for my comfort. A year and a half later, I needed a second graft. The results were the same. I am now being treated by Dr. Russo for a cracked tooth which was extracted in preparation for an implant. Once again, I found it very comforting to have such a competent professional care for me. I had implant and bone grafting done by Dr. Russo on a tooth that had been bothering me for some time. Root canal surgery did nothing for me, so I checked out getting a dental implant as a solution. I am so happy I chose this route, and even happier that I chose such a wonderful caring dentist (periodontist). I experienced absolutely no pain with either the bone grating or the implant procedure. The tooth removal was the worst part, but over in a second!!! Now I have a natural looking perfect tooth that will never cause me any more pain, and will be with me forever! Hi, I am 36 years old and I had an impacted upper right canine. My whole saga started when I broke my baby tooth on a piece of uncooked popcorn. I then spent a couple of years with a gap and was embarrassed to smile. I was recommended to Dr. Russo to discuss what my options were if, and when, the canine tooth would ever come down. He told me the best option would be to remove the remainder of the baby tooth and then have the impacted canine surgically exposed and brought down into the correct place with braces. I was terrified by the idea of having surgery and braces for this. He made me feel confident that he could bring down my impacted canine tooth with minimum discomfort. Dr. Russo did a fabulous job!
