Dr. Sherard is a very friendly, compassionate doctor. His wait times are short and he is very responsive. 10/10!

Worst mistake my family ever did was take me to see him at Gardner Family Care back in 2014. I was gravely ill and he told my family that I just had depression and to take a medication for it. I was in a lot of pain and my health was declining and he was negligent and only told my family to make me my favorite meal as if there was nothing they could do. I still have trauma from it, my family had to carry me there in a wheelchair because I was so weak, they did this several times in desperation. I didn’t die after lying in bed to the point my muscles and brain function deteriorated to almost nothing. I could barely speak or remember anything. I had to rehabilitate myself without any help whatsoever because they couldn’t find anything wrong. After years of struggling and not knowing and seeing the wrong doctors I finally went to integrative medicine. They’ve been treating tick diseases and fungus and mold illness and mercury toxicity. I had them test my gallbladder and it was functioning at 8 percent and that was removed at Olathe Med. Still not right because I can’t get the hospital type treatment I deserve for this. The level of literal caring shown by everyone that we interacted with made a profound impression. You don’t find that much anymore.

He is the best dr.ever.He listens to you . checks out everything that you say. Runs all the test. Treats your needs.hes the sweetie person that the medical field could have i wouldn't go no were i couldn't find a dr to find out what was wrong with me he did. I feel so much better

Dr. Sherard is the best doctor you could ever see. He really cares about you, all of you, body and mind. He is so thorough in his examination that he never misses anything and takes time to listen to you. He's not like other primary care doctors trying to rush you out the door. An absolutely amazing doctor and man in general. His nursing staff since coming to him and his care have been beyond what I have ever received and I am truly thankful for their caring hearts and willingness to actually take care of me! To find someone who truly puts effort into your health and quality of life is hard to find anymore and I am not looking forward to the day when my doc retires. I look forward to seeing him and his staff everytime! Blessed is an understatement! Thank you all for all you do.. Dr. John Sherard is the best primary care doctor we’ve ever had! He’s attentive, always available either in person or by email. He has seen us through some rough patches and his advice was always 100% correct. God bless you Dr. Sherard especially during these difficult times of healthcare!

First visit with Dr Sherard at Antioch Family Care, happy with everything, level headed and thorough exam, pays attention to the important things, took the time to look through prior Dr records before recommending anything, asked questions, followed up next day with new actions based on blood test result and had staff call to explain. Accessible for questions via Olathe IQhealth website which has records and results viewable by me. Small office but well run. Would recommend.
