This place is horrible! I do not recommend especially when concerned about the safety and health of your family.! My wife is a high risk, and was promised and early induction only to have it canceled because Dr. Sullivan decided it was time to go on a vacation and my wife has been very sick and in pain.

Everyone at this office is really nice. The front desk, the nurses have all always made me feel welcome. Constance the NP was awesome leading up to my infertility issues and referring us to a clinic. When I got pregnant I started seeing Dr. Sullivan. He was great too. I ended up having a miscarriage at 14 weeks. I started having cramps the day before and messaged the office and they said it could be normal. The next night I called the on call number and spoke to Dr. Sullivan. He told me if it got worse to go to the ER and if not they could see me the next day. I messaged the office the next day to let them know what happened. Constance called me and apologized and was so sweet. Dr. Sullivan never reached out to me. He was my doctor. I had called him an hour before delivering the baby. He could of reached out to me, but he never did. Even my doctor from my fertility clinic called me after I reached out to them, and I was no longer their patient at that point. I have now received 3 calls to schedule appointments for a pregnancy I no longer have. I felt like it was the offices responsibility to reach out to whomever they gave my information to and tell them not to contact me. Everyone at this office is really nice. Dr. Sullivan delivered both of my kiddos, one breach delivery. I have been with him now for 15 years. If you are someone who wants warm and friendly; if you like to ask a lot of questions; if you want expertise and training, this is it. Wonderful, caring, conscientious, trained, honest doctor. The only thing now is that he no longer does his annual exams. It is a P.A. who is very nice (everybody is nice there). I miss having Dr. Sullivan do mine. Just wanna say how AMAZING Dr. Sullivan and the staff are. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for us so far. And I’ve only been with them since mid January. Staff is always so sweet and caring. They listen to me. Being a first time mom this place is golden in my eyes. Got over covid recently and I called after hours, left voicemail and Dr. Sullivan himself called me back instantly within 3 minutes to talk to me and guide me on what I needed to do if it got worse. I recovered very good. Then a week later got strep throat. Called and left voicemail and they called me back and prescribed me some meds that’s safe for me and baby. They are just all around AMAZING. I had never seen an OBGYN until my first pregnancy. I was scared initially going to a man. My first appointment rid all of my fears immediately and I realized that this is where I belong for my pregnancy. I was Dr. Sullivan’s patient from 2019-2020. He is absolutely the greatest OBGYN around and I would never recommend anybody else. He made my first pregnancy comfortable for me and guided me through everything along the way. My baby daddy literally passed out in the exam room and he handled it so incredibly well and helped me not panic at the sight of my baby’s father literally unconscious on the ground from the shock of hearing our baby’s heartbeat for the first time lol. He delivered my baby seamlessly and even posed for photos with us after delivery which at the time we didn’t realize how much we would love and appreciate the gesture. I only pushed for 25 or 30 minutes and the actual delivery took only minutes and it was the best experience of my entire life thanks to dr. Sullivan. I had given birth in the middle of the pandemic and was absolutely terrified. My baby is now happy healthy and about to be 2 years old. My only heart wrenching complaint is that his office doesn’t accept Medicaid patients unless they’re pregnant so as soon as I gave birth I never got to follow up with a him or anyone and have had trouble finding and going to a new OBGYN. Due to my own personal traumas, Dr. Sullivans the only obgyn I trust and feel comfortable with and it’s scary to go somewhere new which I dont want to do at all. I’m working hard to get new insurance because I have a new list of serious health problems that Medicaid doesn’t even begin to cover. So literally as soon as I’m able to find insurance that he accepts im going to fight hard to get back into his practice. I refuse to accept anybody else as my obgyn. He is the best surgeon! I have a dear friend at SMH, labor and delivery, who has witnessed his amazing skills and brilliant mind, she recommended Dr. Sullivan. I had 14 doctors look at my case over years and he is the only one who figured out the "conundrum" I had going on. He literally improved my quality of life significantly! Forever grateful!!

Front desk staff are rude and inefficient. They cannot provide information, send documents. My shortest waiting time in my three years there was 45 minutes, no apology for tardiness. Dr said I needed surgery as he wasn't sure of what was wrong after 2 ultrasounds and found only scar tissue from three cesareans and tube ligation (of which he was advised). Thanks, that was 8k! Surgery was unnecessary. Did not solve or explain the reason for the original concern, which is just part of being menopausal I then discovered. Nurse practitioner was very nice in her manner but equally incapable of explaining/dealing with symptoms that originally took me there. I moved to another OBGyn, Sullivan's office never forwarded my file in spite of 3 phone calls and 2 letters.

Doctors are good...staff on the other hand....Awful!!!

Today was my wife's first video appointment (third overall) with the doctor. The first two required extended wait times. Today was an abomination. We waited in front of the computer screen saying: "Dr Sullivan will join you for the 3:45 pm appointment" since 3:30, as requested by their office. At 4:30 the office called to say the doctor would join in 15 minutes. We sat in front of the computer and watched the same message, listening to their ding-dong sound for ANOTHER HOUR!!! Nobody called, nobody came on the screen, NOTHING!!! By then the office was closed, the phone not manned, NOTHING!!!! They simply went home, left us watching the dead message "Dr Sullivan will join you..." This is an inexcusable ABUSE of a patient! SHAME!!!!! Great office and team! Very welcoming, personable, and friendly. Thanks for making me feel comfortable. The office is very efficient and got me in and out in a timely matter but I didn’t feel rushed. I would highly recommend! :)

I would strongly and have recommended Dr Sullivan to every woman I know. He is the best and his team are amazing and so kind and helpful. I’ve known at least 20 babies delivered by him with a wonderful experience.

He is an amazing doctor. Very attentive and makes sure all questions are answered. Staff are also amazing. I had a stillborn in February so my anxiety went through the roof when I found out I was pregnant again. I immediately remembered him from 2011 and had to come back to him. At my first visit he was very attentive I think we spent about an hour and a half in the room, and he answered all my questions and assured me it wasn't my fault. He told me if I ever just needed to come in to get reassurance that i was able to. I can't believe after all these years he still has the same compassion and caring bedside manners that he did before. I know of a doctor who started out that way but when he expanded it became more of a job and he became less caring. So it's nice to know that there's some people in the world that still treat their careers as their passion. He's the best doctor around. He is an amazing doctor. Dr. Sullivan is the best OB in Sarasota, hands down. He is a gentle man with a massive caring heart. He is very humble and never shames you for asking questions or having a differing opinion. He has delivered two of my three babies (the third one was delivered by the midwife Alicia Cash... also AMAZING) and I felt like I could trust him completely and that no matter what, he was always keeping my baby’s and my best interest at heart. I have referred MANY of my friends to him and have never heard one of them say they had anything less than an incredible experience with him and his staff. Even the nurses at SMH are so glad when you tell them your doctor is Sullivan, now that says a lot about his character! Do yourself a favor and have all your babies with him and Alicia. I have been a patient for 24 years. He is soft spoken , kind in bedside and explains everything. He delivered 2 of my children and we credit him for saving our son who had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. He was there at the hospital ( not just flying in at the 11th hour for delivery) and thank goodness, he performed an emergency C-Section and our beautiful baby boy is now 23! His staff is also wonderful...best OB/GYN practice anywhere!

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Sullivan deliver my daughter. I asked a labor & delivery nurse at SMH who she would recommend and she said Dr. Sullivan is the absolute best in emergencies. I’m thankful everyday for her recommendation as I ended up needing an emergency c-section. From the very beginning of my high risk pregnancy his calming bedside manor and knowledge put me at ease. His whole office staff is friendly, professional and explained the whole process of what to expect at each visit. They checked my insurance benefits and I knew up front what my responsibility would be. I really cannot recommend them enough.

We were new to the area when my daughter took a "P" test to find out she was expecting a baby. We were worried that it would be hard to get a great OBGYN, since we were not yet established in the area. Dr. Sullivan was recommended by a friend so we left a message. Bright and early the following morning, Joy called to make arrangements for Dr. Sullivan's staff to see my daughter. Her names fits her well since she was a pure "JOY" to talk to and calmed us down quickly. I am speaking as a mom who was being a bit overprotective, while hoping to bring peace to anyone's heart who selects this practice to bring new life into this world. These folks are amazing; their professionalism, kindness and patience makes us know that we are in good hands. Thank you!

Dr. Sullivan is kind, with a gentle bedside manner. He has a wonderful ability to explain so that you understand. He is a gifted doctor.

Absolutely love them and the staff, all great. Drove 1 1/2 hours each way to see them with my last two children and I would do it over again!

Been coming here for some time always very friendly and professional. All the staff are very nice and I’ve never had a problem. They call right back if you have any questions or concerns as well. Would recommend them!

You will not find a better ob/gyn in Sarasota. The entire staff is amazing! The nurses, doctors, receptionists... always friendly, understanding and helpful. They truly care about their patients!

Dr.Sullivan has delivered 5 out of 6 of my children. The only reason he didn’t deliver my first is because I didn’t know of him at that time. He is the most outstanding, kind, educated, and professional doctor I have ever dealt with. NEVER rushes me through any questions and concerns, always smiling, and has a way of calming you in the most stressful situations. His staff is fabulous!!! All the girls are so sweet and attentive to your needs and or concerns. Constance is a sweetheart and very easy to talk to. I would never even so much as consider another office. When I had my last baby, my fiancé’s sister said, “He’s the best doctor, when I have a baby, I’m going to him.” I absolutely recommend Dr.Sullivan and his staff 1000% and to anyone!

Dr. Sullivan is amazing. Great patient care. Delivered my son back in 2013 - went back to him for my annual. Would recommend him to all family/friends.

Terrible doctor who talks to their patients in a very inappropriate and demeaning manner. Does not address any concerns, but instead rushes you out of the room when you are actually frightened about a health concern. I would stay far away from this doctor if you're looking for a professional who is kind and thorough with their patients and does not demean them! Oh and you will have to call them a billion times for lab results and you will still never get them. I've never met a worse doctor!

First time mom and doctor Sullivan was more than I could have asked for. Total God send of a doctor. I had multiple people recommend him, and I am so grateful I listened. At times the wait was long-but it’s worth it. He does not rush you and makes you so comfortable. He did my cesarean and everything went so smoothly. 5 stars! His nurses and front desk are the sweetest too! I did not love the NP though.

Best OB doctor

I have been with this great guy for 20 yrs and he is the best I have ever been with. If I had to start again I would start with him.lovw this dr.

I went to my appointment, but it was cancelled without my being notified. I was rescheduled for a 2:00 apt. After 45 minutes, the receptionist, who never looked up at me, said that I was "next". After more than an hour and a half, during which six women were taken in for their appointments, I asked the receptionist when I would be seen. She said that I was next, and turned her back to me. I reminded her that she had said that more than 30 minutes before. I left, feeling she was very rude.

I would recommend Dr. Sullivan to any female in the Sarasota/Bradenton area in need of an OBGYN. He is kind, understanding and has the innate ability to keep you calm in the most stressful of situations. He understands the advancements of medicine and the constant need to keep up with technology and modern medicine. Without a doubt Dr. Sullivan is in practice because he truly cares about his patient's well-being. You can trust Dr. Sullivan.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Sullivan and his staff. They are always professional and the nicest and friendliest office I go to. He has been my doctor for 4 years now and I couldn't Imagine going anywhere else. He has taken care of my women's health and has seen me through 2 successful pregnancies. He always has a smile on his face! As We all know having a great doctor is important, so is having a fabulous support staff. Lindsey, Lisa, Vanessa and Constance are outstanding!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
