Terrible doctors office. You can't even get ahold of the office let alone make a doctors appointment. If you do get an appointment, they try to put you with other doctor's/pa's and they don't communicate with each other. Also if they send you for outside care like an ultrasound they are supposed to have a follow up which never happens. Unbelievable that it is 2023 and health care is THIS bad. The best thing any patient belonging to this office can do is leave.

My wife has been being seen by this doctor for over a year since she had blood clot removal on her leg that has left her unable to return to work. As a result of this we have faced financial hardships for I ,"the husband" has-been the only person in the household who is able to work. Recently our water services were shut off despite my wife having a waiver from this doctor to prevent our services from being shut off. For 5 days in a row my wife contacted this doctor because for some reason the water company insisted that they weren't receiving the waiver each time my wife asked the doctor to resend it. For 5 days straight this doctor told my wife that he resent it every single day. We were without water for an entire week when water was finally FINALLY restored. My wife finally went to the doctor's office in person to get a copy of the letter so she could send it to the water service at which point the doctor confessed to my wife that he never sent the waiver to the water company because he felt she wasn't doing enough to follow his prescriptive plan. My wife has not missed any visits to his office so this was a lie, the doctor must have some kind of bias against my wife or perhaps he looks down upon people who are going through financial hardships. Why else would he lie to my wife for entire week until finally confessing that he never resent the waiver? As a result of this my wife is now sitting here with a massive infection in her leg and her other leg is starting to show signs of infection of some sort because she was able to properly take care of her post surgery wounds for an entire week. This doctor is supposed to be her primary care physician how does a doctor allow this to happen when knowing that this sort of reaction would most definitely happen in the event these wounds were to go untreated? Now my wife's probably going to have to go back into the hospital for another 2 weeks making life even harder for me for I have an 8-year-old daughter who lives with us that I have to take care of somehow while at the same time going to work on a daily basis. Who's going to be accountable for that? I guess we'll find out ,thanks a lot doc. I was a patient of Dr. Olenginski's for many years after going through 2 or 3 before when I moved into the area in 2005. Always courteous, very friendly, and a great family doctor - I never had a negative experience while in his care. Also, his staff is wonderful as well! I've moved to California and am on the hunt for a new doctor and thus far, none have even approached this guy. HIGHLY recommended. Getting a new doctor has always been frustrating...until I had the fortunate fate of finding Dr. Olenginski. Some are kind, others are patient-focused, most are meticulous, but Dr. O is all of these things. I will gladly now drive far out of my way to see a way far Superior provider. Thank You Sir!

Finally....a doctor who listens to ME not big Pharma. I have been patted on the back by other docs and had them tell me it'll be okay, but Dr. O actually makes it happen. This is a tried and true physician who sees eye to eye with his patients. Dedicated, thorough, and caring.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Olenginski and my first experience with him was excellent. He listened to what I was saying to him concerning my history, even looking into my medical records to see exactly what I was telling him about. He didn't talk down to me concerning unhealthy choices but let me know if I want help with changing them that there are options he can offer and was understanding of the fact that if you aren't ready to change things then most likely even with assistance you won't succeed. He made sure I was up to date with any preventive care and put in the referral for the appropriate department to get me an appointment. He assured my prescriptions were current. Usually my anxiety acts up when meeting people for the first time and that wasn't the case. My experience with the PAs at the office has been excellent as well. Total time spent for the appointment was perfect.

The Dr is good but his staff are disrespectful and do not take the time to listen.

He is a great doctor. Listens and actually wants to help you. His nurse Jen is a gem!

Not sure how the doctor is ,but the geisinger in nanticoke are horrible,my mom has been sick and calling there few times for days ,not one call back,nothing called in ,nothing at all,,,this is suppose to be a doctors office ,right? This is terrible practice theres no excuse what so ever..that practice should be ashamed of themselves,,,personally I am a geisinger patient, I have several specialists,up in Baltimore drive ,and I have never had an issue ,so something is not doing there job (geisinger clinic)in NANTICOKE !! Very nice office and a great guy. Never rushes you and always has information for you. Definitely an A+ doctor.

The main problem is that it is hard to get an appointment with Dr. Olenginski within a month. This forces you to see a PA, which has been a complete nightmare. I have had wrong tests ordered and just don't feel like I am receiving quality care. The other issue is the staff and the complete lack of communication.The Geisinger Health System that the office operates under moved all the calls to a call center and it doesn't seem like they communicate efficiently. I have to hand deliver my documents.

Jon is an excellent doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. The only reason he is no longer my doctor is because I moved to Florida. I wish he still was. Sharp as a tack.

He is a very kind and compassionate doctor with regard to his patient's well being. I have only been going to him for about 3 years now and I am so glad I found him for my doctor.

Dr. Olenginski very thorough and conscientious. I have been with him since he was in Mountain Top in the late 90s. I hope to stay with him and his staff for as long as possible.
