Amazing and caring dentist. I’ve been a patient for over 13 years and I can highly recommend him.

Called this morning in extreme pain/discomfort and was able to be seen an hour later, even though I wasn’t an existing patient. Dr Garger was kind, apologized for my wait (which was maybe 10 minutes, so nothing I was going to complain about) and had me in and out with antibiotics, pain meds, and a return appointment for treatment when the infection settles down. From the moment I walked in the door everyone here was AMAZING. I paid out of pocket today out of desperation for a quick fix, but will end up staying here for treatment because of how wonderful staff and dr were. This was the best most professional, clean, and nice dental office I have ever been to! The office manager Kendall in the front was super efficient and friendly. I can't remember the last time I had such a great teeth cleaning as I did from here with Melissa. Literally its a week later and my teeth still feel squeaky clean. Lastly, the assistant Shantel was so awesome. She really took her time to work on my teeth, was very professional, and so gentle on my teeth. She does the BEST work. I went to get a tooth checked and he put a crown, they tried to charge me for the evaluation for over 3000.00 I had trouble with it and went to get it checked by ANOTHER dentist and said I needed root canal.

This dentist is a pos! He did work on me several years ago. I had good insure then. But when the crown he did started falling apart he blamed me for it. I was treated rudely by him. And I worn people about him. He was only in it for the money.

Gentle Family Dentistry was everything I always wanted from a dentist but could never find elsewhere. I was absolutely floored by have kind, thorough, and patient every person I encountered at this practice was. They used extremely thorough practices to protect everyone during COVID, and still imparted a feeling of warmth and comfort all the while. The sense of community in the office was palpable. I have had lifelong issues with my teeth, and they were able to answer questions I have had for years and couldn't get answers for before my visit at this practice. The skill of the staff was so great that even being numbed was barely felt, and I had no discomfort even with large scale dental work being done. I was given very detailed instructions on how to care for the work that was done, as well as how to maximize the health of my teeth going forward. Dr Garger told me I needed a crown on a tooth he said had a crack (was not visible to me). I went to another office, was told I did not need any treatment. I suspect Dr Garger needs to pay for his expensive office, and may suggest unnecessary treatment. BEWARE!

The office staff gave me an estimate with my insurance for dental work, then the day I came in to have it done, they changed the amount I would owe. Dr Garger seems arrogant. Bad experience!

The staff at this office seems very inexperienced. I was given different treatment information from two different members of the staff. Mistakes were made with my billing. They lost the impression for my crown. I recommend for anyone who needs any kind of treatment to go somewhere else.

Today I was given the same hygenist after I requested someone else (doesn't clean my teeth well). My request ignored. And as always, she missed a spot but this time I went back to the office and had her clean the area. She was rough. I got home and called the office to ask why they scheduled her to me. The office staff defended her even after seeing me immediately return to the office to have missed area cleaned. Clearly my business is not appreciated. There are other dentists. I have been going to Dr. Garger for years. He and his staff are professional, one time and most of all caring. Dr. Garger does his best to make you are comfortable and not in any pain or discomfort.

I live this office! I am a dental phobic patient. I have been a patient since 2011. I am well into middle age and that is the longest I have stayed with one dentist. The entire office staff is wonderful. They have tailored everything from my cleanings to a root canal to my physical and emotional comfort level.

Best dental office in town! The front staff are always helpful, polite and willing to work with me on my schedule. They take care of all our dental needs and it's four of us in the family, 5 years straight now!

Awesome Dentist! I was a certified dental wimp before seeing Dr. Garger and I avoided going to the dentist after I was hurt at one of those group HMO offices by one of those fresh out of school dentists. My co-worker recommended Dr. G as the most gentle dentist that he ever went to, and that was I needed to hear... When I came into his office for the first time, I was struck by how beautiful the office was and how they had this coffee, tea and water available to people in the reception area. Since I was hurting, the girls at the front brought be directly in to see Dr. Garger to get out of pain before I had to fill out the forms! He did some tests and took an x-ray to be sure which tooth was hurting me and after taking my blood pressure, they numbed me FIRST to get me comfortable before having me fill out forms! And the shot didn't hurt! He had some vibration thing on the syringe that took the sting out! By the time that I filled out the papers, I was hardly hurting at all and They took me back to discuss whether or not I would want to save the tooth. I said that I did, but I still had the crummy HMO insurance and wanted to switch over to a PPO that could allow me to choose my dentist... I was willing to pay cash for today to get out of pain, then come back when I had a better plan. Dr. Garger did a partial root canal that relieved the pain in the tooth and put a large filling in the tooth so that I could come back and have him finish the job once the good insurance kicked in. He did a great job doing the root canal when I returned, and I don't remember any discomfort since I was given some pills that made me relax as I watched a Netflix show while he worked. Dr. Jonathan H. Garger has been my doctor for almost twenty years. When I came to see Dr.Garger i was a hot mess. He has done a wonderful job in fixing my dental problems. His staff has always been caring and always make sure they get me in on any emergency when i don't have an appointment and i'm not left waiting hours. Going into Dr. Garger's office is alway fast and easy and never an inconvience. The staff is always welcoming and make you feel comfortable being there. Dr Garger is very good at what he does and has been wonderful. He is very thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. He is very up to date on all the latest techniques and technologies yet isn't afraid to use tried and true methods if he feels thats the best path for a patient. Highly recommend!!

Great dentist! I had a bad toothache and they had me come in right away. Beautiful office and friendly, helpful staff! He uses a special vibrating syringe to numb people with no pain (at least, I didn’t feel anything). Anyway, he did a root canal and the tooth is feeling great!

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was required to pay the entire amount for my procedure, 8 weeks before it was done. Then I was told that a temporary bridge was $300 extra, not covered by insurance (the assistant commented to me that it was always included). I have very good insurance, and it felt like Dr. Garger was trying to scam me. Then, when I did get the procedure, I was told that my impression had been thrown out, because I did not get the temporary. When I asked why they wouldn't keep it for the permanent, Dr. Garger said "Well, that would probably be best". They never apologized for losing it, and I have a subpar bridge because of it. Dr. Garger was rude and unprofessional. He used to have a very professional and experienced staff, but they have all left. My high schooler had 3 teeth shattered at track practice. I called and they got him in immediately. They spent 4 and a half hours on him. Well past open hours. I always have the best experience at Dr. Garger's office. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the level of excellence by Dr. Garger is unsurpassable in aesthetics and comfort! I especially loved that after my treatment was done, he offered to give me an injection which reversed the anesthesia! I was able to move my lips and feel my face within 15 minutes!! (I told my friends about that, and they said that their dentists say there is no antidote 'you just have to wait it out' ... I told my friends that they need another dentist!!) DR. GARGER DID A ROOT CANAL ONE OF MY TOP MOLARS. IT WENT WRONG. HE SAID HE DID NOT SEE THAT MY TOOTH HAD ANOTHER ROOT. WENT BACK TO HIM SO HE COULD FIX IT, AND HE SENT ME TO ANOTHER DENTIST DOWN THE HALL FOR AN ADDITION EXPENSE. DR. GARGER , W HEN IN THE PROCESS OF PEFORMING MY ROOT CANAL HANDED ME OVER TO ONE OF HIS HELPERS AND HAD HER FINISH THE REST OF HE JOB. SINCE THEN, I FOUND OUT THAT HE HAD PLACED TWO WIRES UP IN MY JAW BY MISTAKE. HIS RECEPTIONIST WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK X-RAYS AND MADE MISAKE AFTER MISTAKE. After a long period of dentist avoidance and worsening problems I finally had to deal with the pain and swelling. I wanted to see a real modernized dentist with an outstanding reputation. Dr. Garger and his staff sure did provide that. His office was stellar and I immediately felt comfortable. I needed a lot: 1) an extraction of an abscessed tooth, a filling redo, and full x-rays and exam. I honestly did not feel a thing, during the anesthesia injection, the drilling, and the ‘pulling’. I immediately felt relief both physically and mentally. The entire staff made me feel at home! Dr. Garger offers affordable prices, insurance assistance, and a 12 month interest free credit line. wow!!! I have never experienced such a poor business practice such as theirs. They charge $50 dollars for a no show which is fine, but when you call them well in advance and cancel your appt. they still charge you the $50 even when they have another customer fill your appt. time. Also when they call a day prior to confirm your appt. and your do not answer the phone they will automatically cancel your appt, give it to someone else and still charge you $50. I owe them $150 for zero work done on my kids. It seems like the receptionist gets paid for canceling appointments!!! They just lost 6 customers due to their "scam-like" business model. wow!!! I enjoy having my two annual cleaning done here. His staff has been courtesy and pleasant to myself and have been here 3 times since. I can say that he is a recommended doctor in my opinion so far.
