Excellent doctor and staff

Dr Mize is a good. Been going to him for 15 years now.

save your money. was late for our apt. as we walked in, saw him standing in hall yelling at a kid to shut up and sit down. nurse said it was his kid. then talking on his cell phone. never examined my wife. told her she had a cold. a day later she was in the hospital with pneumonia.

My dad was a patient of this quack. For a year he suffered with pain through his upper back. It was long cancer and he wouldn't give him anything only told him to take tylenol. Two weeks prior to his death this quack gave him a clean bill of health with a huge lump sticking out on his chest. He had to feel it in order to listen to his heart and lungs. The only way we found out about 4th stage lung cancer was from a trip to the ER from a fall. They sent him home with hospice just less than a week before he died. Their lunch time answering machine said Dr. Mike took walk ins. I drove thirty minutes just to be told he was seeing his last patient for the day at 1:00pm. The receptionist did asked why I needed to see him. I told her for high blood pressure. She didn't ask how high my blood pressure was. She did offer to call one of their other offices to see if they could see me. Needless to say my blood pressure was higher after going to this dr office. 190/92. Dr. Mize has been my primary doctor for years. He is very personable and very thorough. He listens to what you have to say and I don't feel rushed when I am there.

My husband had been seeing Dr mize for two years, he treated heartburn. He started having really bad symptoms, low bp, and fast heart rate, the Dr told him to drink water and eat nuts, gave a few pills to help, when my husband called back for a refill, the dr never called them in, this had been in the course of three days. Not one phone call, this Dr did not take my husband seriously, and we found out from another Dr that he has a real problem.
